I’d guess a Crestliner because I had the same problem on mine. Rivets and screws started coming loose, but they took care of the problem before I could drive a screwdriver into the hull. Mine was an ’04 1850 Fishhawk.
I was out today. Got them on swim jigs and traps in an area with a deep break, but fish were in 2 feet of water. Fish are super skinny. Had a 17.5 incher that went 2.5#.
I know there were a bunch of people running around on lake Onalaska today. Crazy with all the trees floating around. Needed chest waders to launch from Schafer’s today.
Icenutz, you should get your facts straight before you spout out about how everything is wine and roses for state employees. I do pay toward my pension and health care! We are also in the average range when it comes to salary for educators nationwide. I just can’t lose $200 dollars per check and still support my family.
It’s super easy. 1. Find a deer trail or feeding area. 2. Look for a tree with a low hanging branch. 3. Grab a stick and start brushing the ground in one direction. Clearing a spot about 1X1 foot. 4. Spray your favorite scent in the scrape and the low branch and let simmer. They will come. It worked for me. Good luck. Jesse
Heading up to mom’s this weekend, but will probably end up at Bone Lake for some perch and crappies. hopefully they are still in the same area as last year. Good Luck all.
My god Mr. Jordan the guy made a mistake. I don’t know about anyone else, but if I had my name in any record book it would be cool. I’ll even take the carp category .
Gander clearenced them out for $1400.00 brand new to make way for this years models. We only had one unit though. If I was in the market for a 110 or 111 used I would not pay over $800.00, but good luck. Electronics never have a good resale value. Check ebay to see what a person is getting for a used one.
Great time out on the ice, as it always is even if the fish are not biting. I would recommend a cat on a jig pole to everyone. Marshal thanks for the help maybe you can join us next time and we will show you where the fish are. I cleaned 14 crappie and they filled up a gallon bag. Can’t wait till tonight. Good Luck all, Jesse
The seat on the pro is much nicer as well and I dont think the scout has a zipper door on the front. I bought a pro at the end of last year. I will never go any other way. there is just a lot more room for your stuff. I can put three holes inside too without the fish tangling the other lines. Go with the pro or the new frabill one man.
We were out today prefishing and I caught two fish that went about four pounds a piece too bad they were sheepshead One bass today and it was only 10 inches The weights are going to be low Saturday. I miss the hot weather!!
It is completely screwed up this year. I have found fish on beds in some lakes and in similar lakes of the same depth they are still sitting off of the first break. My dad always told me the crappie and white bass are running when the lilacs bloom. This year we can throw every thing out the window.
I heard they grow real big in there. I’m shooting for a 7#er. My friend said they are out there. Last year some lucky dude won a contest for a TV station with a 10.4 I can’t imagine a fish that big around here.
I was not on Perch lake. There are some nice fish in Perch, but not that nice I don’t think. The first two were from Pool 7 the second pic was from a cranberry bog north of town
