I had a smashed marker stuck in my auto bilge float so it was stuck on straight from the factory. Noticed alot of other stuff sitting down there too I pulled out. It’s in idea to check. Bilge can kill your batteries in an hr
April 11, 2016 at 8:49 pm #1613027The safe floor company is exactly what I’m looking for. But it says they are in Texas and miss. Sent them an email seeing if they have anything up this way. I would think wis or Minn would have something similar but haven’t found it yet
April 11, 2016 at 8:27 pm #1613018Thanks. Got it today and it came with used washers and the insert washer. They all looked identical to what was on my boat.except the thrust washer that was sent is silver, stock is a copper color.
June 5, 2015 at 5:59 pm #1548781So I picked up a merc quicksilver Silverado prop 13 3/4 x 21 ran it today for first time full load 2 people 40 gals of fuel I was able to hit 50 at 5500 wot. All other performance was better except stand up power suffered a little. Is their anything bad for the motor with not being able to run closer to 6000?
May 21, 2015 at 7:06 pm #1546469What is dia and pitch? Rpm at wot? Trying to get a range of what my options are
May 21, 2015 at 3:51 pm #1546445What is your wot rpm? And speed? Is that a 4 blade? Thanks for the reply
April 5, 2015 at 10:01 pm #1531189just got a 859 from digital oasis. came fast, was the cheapest, no tax no shipping.
March 31, 2015 at 7:22 pm #1529437Do you recall what length and size bolts you used for the stabil mount? I used 1/4 for the base but don’t have nothing small enough to fit where the base mounts to the plate. Rather than pull it off and take it with to the hardware store hopefully someone remembers. Nothing on the website thanks
March 27, 2015 at 9:49 pm #1528112I have a 1198 si I used for the autochart pro. ido not remember the size of the sd card but its the one that it came with. I did not try to use another because they old me it is encrypted and it would not work so I didn’t bother. but I heard from others you can. the maps look great on the unit ill see if I still have a pic. it was just over the top trying to figure out how to convert them and not being able to see my maps on the computer other than the last one. if its the only option you have and is a small lake it might be worth playing with.
March 26, 2015 at 10:37 pm #1527737another thing I found out today. I went to cabelas asking some questions on units. I was looking at the 859 and helix. apparently the 859 runs a 10hz internal gps which is better than previous years pucks and the helix has a 1hz and is junky. according to the sales guy but he seemed to know everything I have been researching. but for the price you really cant complain. I am assuming he 798 has a better gps than the helix.
March 23, 2015 at 4:21 pm #1526407I think that will work. Wiring is ran back to battery . only could get 2 bolts in the mount but used washers and lock nuts. Appears to be out of the way of everything . just have to wait a few days for the new unit

March 23, 2015 at 11:58 am #1526275Thanks guys. I’m at Menard’s now trying to figure something out. I’ll post what I come up with
March 23, 2015 at 12:11 am #1526064I bought the auto chart last year when it first came out. I thought it was cool and really handy to have since no where is 100% right. but it is a real pain to convert your charts and con only record a few hours at a time and I could not figure out how to see my recorded trips all together at the same time on computer. I ended up putting it back in the box on my shelf chalked it up to a 250$ waste. right after that they came out with the autochart live on the onix units that lets you record maps live on the water. I would rather spend 2 grand on a new unit then mess with the chip to computer to program back to chip to unit stuff ever again
March 22, 2015 at 7:09 pm #1526004Where are the power wires located? Is that an option or are they behind the trim switch panel? Thanks for the pics
March 22, 2015 at 5:00 pm #1525944Here is what I’m looking at . looks like wires will be easy enough to get back to battery just don’t know where or how to mount the base where I can get at the nuts underneath

March 20, 2015 at 11:38 am #1525370my 1198 went goofy on my at low speeds the mph went all over the place was driving me nuts and had to go off the ipilot remote for speed below 1.5. did not have any and gps problems but an update fixed the problem with speed jumping around. so it would be worth a shot. I had a 798 before with internal gps and worked great.
March 17, 2015 at 10:59 pm #1524563I had a 798 with side imaging and really liked it . I was just about to order the helix 5 but I found out it only takes lakemaster and navionics gold chips. I did not want to buy another chip so I would rather buy a more expensive one that takes my navionics premium. if I needed a chip too I would buy it looks like a slick little unit for cheap
May 31, 2014 at 9:44 pm #1413430Yes it just shows a basemap and camera icons where I started and stopped recording. No details on the map
May 31, 2014 at 12:51 pm #1413379the update is out! still cant get my maps to show up on the unit. let me know if anyone figures it out . must be doing something wrong

Is there a different number to call to get answers? I would hate wasting my time and my gas
Read page 6 in the “getting started” manual…
It says right there that you can create and save your maps on your hard drive. Then move them onto the zerolines sd card to use them in your depthfinder. (*after the depthfinder update is released)
The humminbird rep said you need the update to be able to record in the correct format to be able to make a map for your card. So all data recorded so far may be useless except for computer view.
May 12, 2014 at 10:21 am #1409847So the card can be updated a little piece at a time and not a whole map overwrite every time? It is confusing and not any info out there yet. Be nice to hear from xx99 users that have it

May 12, 2014 at 9:57 am #1409834The biggest issue that is making me mad is that I can only create one recording at a time and the others go off the screen in the same area so I can’t even get a big map on my computer of any areas I mapped. And having to load one every time is [censored]. Their is an auto save setting that should save all the maps you create and leave them on a the computer screen
May 12, 2014 at 8:15 am #1409819He said by end of June the update will be out. Pretty disappointing. Not sure if it is true for sure but guessing it is with all the trouble I’m having. Every time I call them the seem to keep me on hold for 30-45 mins and no matter what I ask the just say I need an update
May 12, 2014 at 7:04 am #1409802Just talked to hummingbird people and they said for every unit pre 2014 the chip is useless until update . Also said you can’t even record data now to save to put back on the card because the unit is not putting it in the right format yet.and blank SD cards will not work for creating maps to put back on the chip.have to use the zero lines card only.said its a waste of time to record anything now unless I just want to see it on the computer.not sure if it is bs or not but sure would like to know! I screwed around with it for hours again yesterday and can’t get my recordings to save on the program and leave my maps on there
May 4, 2014 at 7:31 pm #1408377Thanks. Did the update and fished all week in the MWC without it acting up. Think it fixed it.
