Have you tried “D Rock” in New Brighten, Mn
Based on google it looks like D Rock is not there anymore. To bad, they were a great resource.
If you can find the carb # it’s easy to find rebuild kits on Amazon for a few bucks.

We stopped in at a neighbors deer shack and noticed they had 2 inch foam cut out like lids hanging from the outhouse wall with their names on each one. We all laughed how dumb it was, but tried it next year in the winter. It’s the the next best thing to being inside!!!! You won’t make it long enough to get through a Covid post here, but might last long enough for a decent fishing report!
Grandpa got me a 20ga break action single shot when I was 11. Best gun I ever owned!!!!! Good luck!
Anyone see the price of the Fishhawk X2 (depth probe)? Marine General has a Black Friday “deal” for 800. I thought they were running close to 700 earlier in the summer! I know they have been hard to find, but that hurts.
I use a Nills 5 inch for early season. It’s a pleasure to carry and lightning fast. I know if I put a drill on it I could be a faster driller, but I bet I’m quicker to drill, move, and toss down in the slush than a power drill that can’t touch water. The benefit is I don’t have to carry batteries and backups/ worry about stuff breaking. That is what my Ford is for..
I don’t know the brands, but when we did ours the off brand was 100/ft for material before covid. All I could think of was 50 dollar bills lined up around my deck!
It’s also worth noting that unless you run mag boards, it hard to get 10 colors to flare enough from the boat to get an inside spread so you are limited to 1 10 color per side ( or buying mags at 60 bucks a pop!)
This has pretty much been said, but 10 colors on anything but a big reel (ie to big to want to hold) is just for walleyes who don’t run and you flip the LC over in 5 years got get 2x out of it. It’s not practical on smaller reels as when the spool is low (line is out) the retrieve rate is very poor and takes way to much turning. I originally set up a few metal depth masters that way and over the years went down to less LC with more backing so it was more fun the reel in. If you do set them up, I recommend you do it backwards and then use a drill to reverse item an old spool piece wise. My set up is cheap mono to get the spool built up, couple 100 yards of braid, 20 yards of high vis mono to clip the board to then the LC. Going in reverse you can do each reel perfectly.
Isn’t most of that really cheap corrosive eastern block stuff ( brown bear and others) from 60 years ago? I Read it had been stored in tuna cans in caves so maybe that maked a difference, but still super old.
For a few years BK would post an article/studies of how long one could survive in the water by temp in the spring as a pfd reminder. I was actually surprised at how long the body can last assuming One doesn’t drown in the first minute when the body essentially freaks out. I would guess that is the key time any pfd would be the most help. I assume those times implied “surviving” to then get to serious medical attention, but clearly better than the alternative.
I would assume the farther from the head the better for the puck until it runs out of blue tooth range, so why move it. My tracks still fit just fine.

Here is the only toy I can afford anymore. The cost is high, but the true cost of ownership is insane! You won’t be saying that in about 30 years. My daughter and grandson.
The grandparents are loving it right now for sure!!

If you figure out a way to make kickers quiet let me know! I have a Zuke 9.9 and it’s annoyingly loud. I had it next to a df140 and it wasn’t even a fair comparison. I now have a vf200 and it’s got a bite more growl, so comparable.
For a gas grill or pellet is there anything needed other than the stone directly on the grates? I see some stainless “vent” type things that appear to catch the heat on the sides and push it back on the top of the pizza but not a lot of intel on if they are actually needed.
I have heard great things from them and personally had really good service from Marine General. I think they both run a similar business model that they have the right stuff, people that actually know something and fast shipping. Probably not the cheapest, but way less BS in the long run..
RIP big box stores
Here is a picture of Marianne going into hog lake. I watched her channel once she started talking she was going to make the run. I puckered once she cleared the barges on the north end, pushed it all the way down and let it rip!! When she came off plane the marshal asked if she watched her depth and she said NOPE. He said he did and needed the bucket to pee, so I assume he had the same feeling I did. I have a video of it, but it’s to ba
So most posts are talking about something the size of half a deck of cards. Why the heck does my wife need a 25 lb beach bag she calls a purse?
It’s been 3 years, but there was a sunken log on that landing as you left for a few years. No clue if it’s still there but FYI.
I had an 1850 fish hawk with a df140 and I think the whole thing on the trailer and half tank of gas was about 3300, so the estimates are pretty good. Go to a slow scale and if you park right you can get truck, boat/trailer and hitch weight if you are fast enough!
If you can find them the tortillas that you need to pan cook for 30 seconds to finish really give those a pop over the precooked. Makes me feel like I’m almost in Colorado!
My zuke 9.9 is 10x times my old df140 at trolling speed. Not sure why the difference, but drove me nuts.
I think you have to have a head unit to read the sonar regardless of it’s a TM or puck. Here are a few examples which might help.

I added a few more pics to the posting and one of the 5 port switch.
Any word if you actually have to ship the old one back? I got a box with the new one about 5 weeks later and that was it. No confirmation email or communication once I sent the email..
What kind of boat are you mounting it on? Per some earlier comments you would be surprised how easy some of this is if the access isn’t bad. I had a guy who did professional work mount mine the first time, but after watching him I messed and moved with them plenty as it’s easy.
VNP is awesome. Book a few weekends up there and you will be set. Get a guide to cut the curve and it’s a great time with almost no people in some areas.
