    Caught this one last summer on the Mississipi. We usually catch several throughout the summer on buzzbaits, spinnerbaits and rubber worms. Ferocious fighters and will tear your stuff up! Had one smash into the boat chasing a spinnerbait.

    This sounds like an interesting tournament. I assume the walleye contestants go against each other for total weight and big fish and then the bass contestants go against each other as well. Basically two tournaments. My son and I might have to get into this, looks fun.

    Sorry to hear of your struggles. The big river is usually generous but sometimes she can be stubborn. I’m wondering if the waters muddy? I would like to run down there Thursday.
