Not looking specifically for trophies. Water clarity is very very good. targeting this time of year. Early in the morning and late in the afternoon. But I’m fishing all day long anyway.

I got one. 30” medium-heavy. I really love it. Feel like a 100$ rod. Awesome.

This week’s spot on the spot I.D. was awesome. Very technical, explicit….the best to date! Thanks a lot James!

I’m wondering if mine has the same issue. Can’t get the a thick ans steady mark as shown in the home test video. Could it be a resistor problem?

I got an ION. Awesome. Nothing to complain about. In very cold conditions I’m keeping the battery Inside of my jacket. My friend just go the 120 volt trophy strike. Still wondering what the battery life will look like on a long period of time but for now, I drilled a couple of holes with it and it has a lot of power and a lot of torque. Only drawback is the blades are exceeding a little bit out of the drill diameter. So if the it still running in cutting mode and you try to get the drill out of the hole, the exceeding part of the blades grabs the bottom the hole and pulls the drill down again and again. So you have to stop drilling before getting it out of the hole.

I got the Cabela’s Trans-Alaska III….I tell you what, these boots cannot be matched by any mean….Once I was involved in a forum discussion on what was the best ice boots. Somebody said that 47 out of 50 mushers on the Iditarod trail sled dog race were wearing these boots. This fact convinced me to try them and I’ve never regretted it.

Tried a lot of boots. Found that the best so far are the Cabelas Trans Alaska. Outstanding boots! The only problem is if you got big feet like mine (13) and you want to use cleats, there’s not a lot of brands that will fit those boots. Though Yaktrax and Kattoolas will.
