we were jig fishing in about 2′ of water with a 1/16 oz jig and a black and pink tube 10′ bucks jig pole some were caught casting a jig n cork

every one has on opinion these fish were cleaned and used in a fish fry for a group of navy seals in traning here in the county i live in theat’s the rest of the story.

several of our core of engineers lakes have been selected as trophy crappie lakes they have strict creel limits 20 fish per person limits size restrictions all fish have to measure over 12″ and pole limits on spider rigging they have been in effect for about 5 years

i live in north mississippi the limit is 20 per person over 12″ my fishing partner and my grand kids were with me 2 boats we caught 384 spring break week the fish were from 13″ to 18 1/2 ” several 3+ pounds
