Just tagged a big tom the other day, he was going to cross the road but he stalled then flew right into my windshield at 60mph. Feathers everywhere. He had about a 9″ bread

Best of both worlds right now.

Crazy year. Have plans to open water fish in the local area tomorrow and plans to run a few Hours North on Sunday to ice fish. Was thinking of doing both on the same day tomorrow but pushed the ice outing till Sunday.

Lets have good ice till opener, less walleye netted is a good thing. Every year we have late ice there is a large year class.

Mike thought you started a new job, how do you get 2 weeks off just like that? Are they hiring? lol

Rivers always do. Shore to shore ice to wide open in a little over a day. Think I’m headed up Sunday morning and staying til the end of the season. Fishing solo next week.

Have to roll it right after a rain storm when the ground is real wet. Works best is what I found out.

I have the same issue. Bought one that fills up with water. Used it a couple times in the spring like you said. Really didn’t do much of anything for me and haven’t used it since. I am on sandy soil.

PM me if you like. I’d probably sell it quite cheap.

Just slide the boat out on the ice and use an auger to drill some holes to fish in. LOL

You can pick up last years models for under $1k in a 9-12″ screens. Best to go and look at them and talk to an educated sales person. Play with them and push buttons.

I would go through all the power cables and clean all grounds and check the connections. A new 31 size battery should be able to start a 75hp with out loosing voltage.

Not much the wind blew it all to Wisconsin or New York LOL. On the way home north of Red Lake they had 6″ or so we had to drive slow because the roads were still ice/snow covered. Around Mcgregor it was nothing.

bigcrappie, how much snow did you get on Saturday?

40″ of ice still out of Springsteal, almost needed 2 auger extensions. Friday was so nice out we went to the Canada border to fish off the tailgate and say to our new 51st state neighbors LOL. Saturday the winds were 50mph all day into Sunday morning. Stayed on the house all day. We caught fish all day and night. Pulled the rattle reels Saturday night to get some sleep. Highlights were getting some 14″ range crappie, 43″ northern on a tip up and many many jumbo perch. Probably caught 60 walleye lots of 10-14″ and bunch of keepers in the 16-19.25″ and a few small Sauger mixed in. Was a blast for my son that never been on LOTW. best Late ice trip in a long time.

Look at it as an investment. Every boat I have owned and sold I got what I paid for it or more. Last boat I made $4k and owned it for 6 years

Use a 1152 bulb with wires solder on it to test the power, that puts a 1amp load on the power source and that will show a bad ground or phantom power.

I use a Otter Cabin solo all the time, love the space. Now if they made something just 6″ shorter would probably be perfect 1 man.

All my rods are custom made for me by me. I used to use a TB Panfish Sweetheart, but moved to my Panfish carbon I have 28″,30″32″ and a 34″. I also been getting used to the Power noodles. I have been playing with tip length for different size lures. I have a orange and white 32″Power noodle I use for Carppie and a few 28″ for my kids to use.

Dodge are junk, we have 6 City Pro Masters, a 1500 and a 3500 and they are always in the shop.

Not sure about camper vans but my Pri Master has been a maintenence nightmare. About the only things that haven’t gone out has been the engine and tranny. Van has 100k on it. Oil pumps, wheel bearings, rebuilt front end, water pump, Well over 15 head lights. Door locks, sensor out on a break pad and a 2nd or third water pump are currently on the to get fixed list. If you get one get the best warranty available.
