7 inches on Foster Arends as of last Saturday (1/9/21). We were just off the gravel entrance on the northeast side, seemed like people were set up all over the pond but not sure on ice thickness in the middle.

Did you manage to check FF and Wild Goose? Would be good to get a grip on spikes in Roch MN area

Foster Arends is your best bet. They stocked with trout a week ago so there’s some good action to be had. Lake Zumbro is tough to find fish on and Chester Woods is also spotty unless you’re willing to move around over the course of 4 hours.

Lake Zumbro has been stocked every other year for the last 6 years with walleye fingerlings. Heard that some have grown up to 19″ and have been caught ice fishing this winter. Good to see that the DNR is stocking and they are staying alive. As for Fosters…have heard from the owner prior to it being made public that he stocked it with walleye. Either those are the same fish or there is some small breeding population left. Will have to find this private lake you guys are talking about!

Was out on Sunday afternoon. Fished up along the dam and had minimal luck. Saw one car driving along on our end and heard from the guys in the parking lot that there are trucks all over in Ryan’s Bay. Seems a little early for those kinds of vehicles. Can anyone confirm? I’d like to drive out there tomorrow morning in my Impala but would rather not take the risk as I’m not familiar with where there could be thin spots!
