Been using the HT cleats, the ones that slip over the front of boot. Work good but they have no cleat on the heel part of boot.

What model of the korkers you using?
    Thanks

Do they leave the hole fairly clean and free of slush? It looks like the flighting is smaller than cutting head.

If it’s same blade design as the pistol bits, my experience they cut very smooth. They open old holes with ease and are smooth with no catching issues at the bottom breaking through old holes or drilling new ones.

I heard that about bass camp (Wittman dam) area. I would think with all the high water this spring that they made there way further north than that? I would guess with the major flooding this spring is why they are this far north kind of all of a sudden. Ya not good.

Pistol bit is smooth and does NOT catch at the bottom of the hole because of the ring around the bottom. The light flight can catch sometimes at break through. It don’t catch all the time but I have seen them catch pretty good sometimes. Pistol bit opens old holes great with no problems.

Performance will be great.Just start slow until bit starts to cut/bite and you will be fine. It is a really smooth cutting bit. They don’t catch at bottom of hole like some other bits can do.

Sounds like the same set up as schooley rods use. Which would be a spring bobber like Bob Bowman posted.

Check out i_fish you tube reviews on the diawa legalis and such. He does a great job on them, actually takes the reels apart and explains differences and everything.

I would say a “scour hole” is when your fishing 30′-70′ hole on a river system. Should not be that hard to tell your fishing in that deep of water! ON a map or not.

If I do I never get the underbody wash as I have heard that some of the automatic car washes recycle the water that is used for underbody wash and the last thing I want is a salt water underbody wash.

Check out the CoolBot system. They work good. All you need is a air conditioner and the coolbot control.

I have tried a lot of different boots including Lacrosse, baffin, ect. like others on here have mentioned and then bought some of the white bunny boots and they are the best I have ever worn. If your feet sweat in them they still stay toasty warm. Nothing better IMO.
