Is this a breakfast type sausage? Looking to try making venison sausage for the first time. Sounds awesome

Yes – I eat it for breakfast, but you can enjoy it any time you want.

    Sweet! Mind sharing the recipe?

I have a smoked spicy maple sausage recipe (that I use for venison), that is LIGHTS OUT! But it’s a cured and stuffed sausage – I do it in rings with pig casings.

    If interested, let me know!

Can completely relate to losing private ground. It is always a heart breaker and having a hunting age kid makes it worse…..
SO much more difficult to obtain permission now too.

    B-man’s saying holds very true.

    Thanks Reef!

What happens if it doesn’t get amended? All lottery proceeds go to the general fund?

So is the trust fund grant committee only responsible for the additional 1.5%, then?

Call Boones in Isle. They had a 20 gauge bps a month or so ago. It’s not a micro but my 9 year old shoots it. It was the only place in the state that had anything for my lefty. Hard to find them now that Browning quit making them. Next thing I’m looking for is a left handed slug gun Lefty guns are like looking for a unicorn. . Good luck.

I have both. The walleye snare could possibly be used for crappies. It has significantly more back bone.

Wave Wacker will need to design something to keep all the water off the back….

Thanks everyone. Any suggestions on length? Looks like they go by beam width but not sure how the kicker plays into it.. just go with the longest maybe?

A crazy stat to consider, just last fall the water level at the same gauge was at 3.75ft, so the river is 31ft higher right now.

    That is wild.

No offense to Chris here but livescope is ruining tournaments like this. I hope eventually they make people fish the old fashioned way again instead of just staring at screens.

I’ve never agreed with a single thing you’ve posted until now.

I fished an NWT event and the 2 guys I fished with said the same thing: This will probably be the last year they fish it because of FFS. They both have it and use it but don’t like the direction it’s taking the tournament scene as well as fishing.

Back to Mille Lacs. It is good to hear big fish are out in the basin… but June seems early, maybe that’s why they were suspended?

beardly, which transmission shop did you use?
My brother has had good work done and been satisfied at Kennedy in Plymouth. That is close to me.

    Eric Transmission Repair near Elko.

I had the exact thing in my 2015 and it was the torque converter. I believe the flush “fix” is for the 8 speed. The dealership said they could rebuild the torque converter but for a similar price, longer warranty and no guessing if other tranny parts were compromised, I had a transmission shop rebuild the entire thing. I had more places suggesting to rebuild the entire tranny to be safe than just the torque converter.

My buddies 2018 8 speed tranny did the same thing. He tried the flush, didn’t work and ended up doing a rebuild as well.

I said this in another thread that was similar. St. Croix has always been great. I’ll gladly take anyone’s Croixs and have bought many on here.

X4 or whatever we are at. I typically like Jay’s stuff but couldn’t watch the whole thing. Tech isn’t going anywhere in the fishing world but man…

It was still a great time this year, even with all the changes. Will be interesting to see how they do it next year with/without buttons, not being present to win and still entice people to show up. The people that were there this year weren’t really aware of the new changes and already had their trips planned.
There was alot of prizes that were left for the non-present winners which seem like it would suck for Hunters to have to store them until pickup.

GS makes good frames too. I’ve always hated the Glacier windows. Pick the layout you like and start fishing.

I’ve heard it’s a great time. As far as tickets, I seen on the FB group there will be some available at the gate but first come first serve. Have fun!

    .

Most days I still carry something without a dot, but more and more I carry the FN with the dot. It all really depends on what I’m wearing. Sometimes it’s an lcp with gutter sights in my pocket.

I’ve been looking at the .380 LCP for a pocket gun. I know there is debate on safety vs non for carry. But not have a safety and it in my pocket bothers me. Do you have it in some sort of slim holster?

Another suffering here…. between hunting, motors, and starting out young in the construction industry I’ve struggled with it along time. Sure hope to hear some success with the acupuncture deal. Ear protection was never really pushed on me. I now have ear plugs and muffs everywhere for my kids.

.I don’t really have one since I see it as a challenge but I’d if I had to pick one I’d say Leech Lake..I can’t catch a cold on that lake..like to hear other peoples tales of woe.

Leech is also my least favorite lake. Only have fished it in August while on family vacations but can never figure it. One fish here and there but never even ok….

I read it as making sure people put trash and poop bags in a container so they dont freeze into the ice or blow away resulting in stuff left on the ice. I doubt they will ticket for taking a wazz on the ice. And not cleaning up after your dog is just plain lazy, regardless of where you are. The same entitlement you guys are displaying on that is the same as the guys dumping their sewage while driving down the road.

Ever been on a sled dog trail? Gross… but I doubt the dnr will ticket them too. People just need to have common sense and clean up after they’re done. You know, like you were taught in kindergarten.
