I run folbe’s. Better than any I’ve used in the past. Highly recommended.

Pattaya Beach as well in 1996(Operation Cobra Gold). Watch for the ladie boys or shims(She/Hims)as we called them. Good times……Only word I remember is Layo-Layo which means faster faster for the Baht Bus(taxi)driver.

    Nut

This brings back so many memories. Baht Bus…bwahahaa! Kinda of like the honcho’s in Okinawa. I participated in Cobra Gold in the early 2000’s.

Been three times Pattaya twice and Phuket. Make sure you check for an adams apple. If there’s an apple, there’s a banana…if you know what I mean. Expect 99 degrees and 100% humidity. Rains every day. If you enter a bathroom and only find a hole with a bucket of water, try to find a different bathroom.

Great thread! My favorite “to the guy” ads are in the CL personal pages. My all time favorite was posted a few years back. I can’t remember it verbatim, but the crux of it dealt with a damsel in distress searching for “the gentleman” who took her into the men’s bathroom at some club and engaged in you-know-what. I hope she found her man; they’d make a classy couple.

Don’t forget the unit to Ethernet adapter. Heard a report of a guy getting severe interference when hooked up to the TM via Ethernet. Might be a very random case, but something worth checking out. If it works, I’ll be all over it. But I’ll wait for common man on-water opinions.

I’m waiting, too. I’m pretty compelled at this point.

On top of the $800 link, the system also requires the new $100 lakemaster chip. The cost/benefit analysis, at least in my estimation, clearly tips in favor of the link. It will mostly hinge on what type of fishing you prefer. For me, it makes perfect sense.

Call Jag’s Pro Truck Shop in Zimmerman. Would not hesitate to recommend him. He’s done all the work on my 7.3 and 6.0. Well worth the drive, and his prices will beat anybody.
