Rod & Reel at Sioux Narrows was a decent place. Myself and 6 others were there as guests for a veteran/first responders week outing. We were a mixed group of 12 and they did have some stuff for kids.

I have used JJV’s best for the last decade with great success. They have one for glass and painted aluminum, one for raw mill finish aluminum like toon’s!

Dutchboy, try googling “extendable fiberglass fishing pole”. You might find something that will work.

Yea, fleet farm sells those telescopic poles!

We spider rig crappies here in AZ as well as MN. They hear or feel the electric noise so We run 20’, 18’ or 16’ poles off the front. Set two pedestal seats up front. One guy lifts the pole while the other nets the fish with a long telescopic handle. So to answer your question, yes it will work!

I bought 3 Enerakkus 12 volt 100ah from Amazon for a little over 200 each. Ran in 36 volt system. First time out went well for 2 hours and died. Second time out did the same and would not take a charge even with jumping. Long story short bought another one while trying to return bad battery.
New battery works well and got a couple full days on water so far and running well.
A lot of hassle and customer service was horrible on return but just received refund from company through Amazon today. They have no stated return policy. So happy with that. Time will tell

If you order off of Amazon and you get a bad battery, it’s much easier to exchange them.

And how many potential terrorists have came through our open southern border and scattered all over the country?

    Time will only tell!

    Fishing

Tom been guiding up there for years and in the last few years he’s been running a AQ tritoon. Like stated above, every watercraft has their limits!

All of our crappie fishing is out of the bow, spider rigging! So I’m no help with long lining. I think your setup looks good!

The offensive line isn’t really the whole problem. They had given up the fifth fewest sacks of this past season. The non mobile safe qb is more of an issue!

To the OP, I did order my 4th retirement boat last June. It was suppose to go into production Feb7 but haven’t heard anything from the my dealer. He stated he would not sell my 2020 until he gets an affirmation from the manufacturer that my boat did indeed meet the production time frame and will be delivered by May when I return from AZ. I’ve always bought new every 2-3 years for the last 30 years, but this year seems to be the toughest. Always ran fiberglass, rangers and yarcrafts with a Grady White thrown in there. This year it’s an Angler Qwest tritoon, FW thought we should try one and she added a grill. Thought she might want to do some grilling, we’ll see if she does!

Ironically, the ones who are driving the “going green” initiative are the ones that will shut this down.

Exactly! Can’t have your cake and eat it to!

I have a 2016 alumacraft competitor 175. Anyone have some examples or suggestions of how to mount livescope to this boat? Is mounting necessary? I’m wondering if just holding it over the side with a summit pole will work for scanning. Probably pretty hard to control a boat, hold onto livescope and try to fish all at once I imagine….

This is how I did mine on my AZ boat. I built the pole and used the Alumatrac with a 2 1/4” ram mount. Not the best picture but you’ll get the idea.
