Sure they work…marginally. No good way to get them filled all the way or at least filled to the same level every time. Yes, you can fiddle with the relief valve and weigh every tank on a scale, but eventually those steel threads are going to rust and those relief valves are going to leak. Not to mention they are not designed to refill and if an accident were to happen, you could face some liability.

I guess I’m a bit late. I did wonder why the new videos weren’t popping up on Sunday mornings anymore. No cable or satellite so YouTube for most fishing shows. Started searching and found your post. IDO will still be one of my top fishing shows. Grew up watching Tony Dean and few others I can’t remember off hand. The best stick out though. You guys made the show interesting to watch and informative. However not much for showing locations, Big Huge perch on the Mississippi, come on man, GPS coordinates. At least we can watch past episodes on YouTube.

I had a Otter Pro Cottage. One of the worst ice huts I’ve ever owned. Felt like you were leaning forward the whole time, very uncomfortable. The seat base is a horrible design too, can’t slide the seat back far enough. Called Otter about the issues and they didn’t care. Went back to Clam.

Keep your eyes open for the Clam version too. I think it’s the Strikemaster/Solo but in Clam blue. Guy in Jackson,MN had one last yr/ yr before for $80, looked brand new. I was thinking of selling mine until it went down the basement steps, twice. Have steps in the garage too and moving crap around. Broke recoil top piece a little and couldn’t start. JB weld and runs great now !!!!

Are any glow or UV? Who painted? Really like the bottom left “yellow bass” looking one.
