OK. I understand the guys who are against the in-line guns. They want the old fashioned ways. Understood. I have been talking to people who know Game &Parks and there looking at a new season. First will be high powers then in-line scoped muzzleloaders, then Traditional muzzleloaders who also can shoot a buck and a doe. But it looks like maybe 4 years before that happens?? Why I don’t know! Nothings in concrete yet just talk.

I know some people are upset with the new ruling. Myself i’m glad they changed it. I have a bad shooting eye. and eyes( Since my heart attack). Early light and cloudy days I can’t see good enough to take a shot with open sights. The 1X power scopes were a joke with there small lenses. I was hoping they would limit the power to 4X or 6X power or maybe 3 X 9 varible power. I don’t think people who complained understand that these scopes are on in-line muzzleloaders. I doubt very much if any, body is going to scope a traditional hawkins. I went and bought a 3 X 9 for mine but I am going to use the 9X power for testing loads to make my gun shoot even better, and 3X to 6X power for hunting. Thanks! my 2 cents
June 30, 2007 at 10:26 pm #585871Went down to harlan sat. morning and found suspended fish everywhere out in the lake away from the weeds. Didn’t fish the lake much even though we drove over every hot spot I know. I”ll have to admit the lake has changed from the old days with all the weeds and trees. So we went to the prairie dog and I told my son there is a few spots back here you fish like a Bassmaster. We found walleye and white bass. Had a great time and got a few eaters!

December 9, 2006 at 3:44 am #509010Little story. A long time ago Elwood froze up early. Because of a hard freeze. And stayed that way thru the winter. It was a very cold winter. So me and a friend decided to ice fish Elwood. So I got there and drilled a hole and no water. So I got on my knees and looked in the hole and it looked like about 3 feet to water. So I tip-toe off that lake and never returned. (Moral of the story) Elwood has lake seapage and it would have been a long way up above the water if I fell in. My 2 cents! For what it’s worth.
September 24, 2006 at 8:39 am #481996Well, first of all I wasn’t trying to start anything. Second I need members or I will be having a tournament by myself, that’s not so bad (I win, I win every tournament)haha….No way would I have a paper tournament. And yes I do have a problem with the regs. because it does hamper the end result, but I don’t have a problem if I’m stuck with it! I just fish around it! But I do agree with you it needs to be changed!
September 23, 2006 at 10:54 pm #481948I fish for bass at Norton, Kirwin, Wilson, Glen Elder, Cedar Bluffs,Kansas….Merritt Res., Big Mac, Johnson Lake, Elwood, Davis Creek, Red Willow, Cambridge, Harlan, Sherman, Calamas, Cottonmill Lake Kearney, Yanney Park Kearney, And Sandpit south of Gibbon Nebraska. I also don’t have a problem with the regulations for Nebraska, those are some of the almost same regs. WALLEYE fisherman have to put up with so what’s the BIG DEAL!!!

September 3, 2006 at 11:16 am #19946I have shot many deer with a revolver 44 Mag. with 240 gr. bullets and they go completely thru them. So I backed off to 180gr. and they once in awhile don’t so now I use 200gr. and everything is great more velocity this way and complete penatration. my 2 cents!
