You’re joking right? If anything we should be spending more on our military. I don’t want to derail this topic but you obviously haven’t served or have a family member in the military.

“The United States spends more on national defense than China, India, Russia, United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Germany, France, Japan, and South Korea — combined. ”

How much more should we spend?

I’m really sick of the nut job minority getting their green deal energy agenda passed and shoved down everyone’s throat.

Yeah all those pesky folks wanting clean air and water, really annoying for the sportsman.

You think you guys could let the blood dry from these kids before you politicize this and make it what you want?

It’s been made clear many times that the GOP could care less about dead children.

Time to start passing out the tinfoil hats, getting all the right-wing conspiracy theories going in here.

Glad to see we’ve moved on from science denial to xenophobia.

The funny thing about voter fraud – whenever instances of it are uncovered, it always seems to be committed by republicans. Yet another example of every accusation being a confession.

Britney Griner is not a man, or transgender. But good job on trotting out the trans/homophobia.

‘Bashing’ this country is protected under the first amendment. Suggesting someone face consequences for it is about as anti-American as it gets.

No matter how you slice it – California is on the front end of some of the MOST noxious far left “progressive” policies and thinking.
NOTHING that comes from that states leadership will do us any good.
Bring Bond back and let Christopher Walker blast along the fault line and let them become their own sovereign nation. And NO, they can’t have our water. Yes, they grow lots of food but we’ll manage just fine. Brandon’s got our backs!

Ah yes, the failing state California. The one with the 3.6 trillion dollar GDP, fourth largest in the world (ahead of Germany). Whose tax dollars go to the many red welfare states who need federal assistance.

The US infrastructure is indeed in a bad state of affairs. Look what happened with that storm in Texas a few years ago and what happens in California all the time. Then Biden wants this push for electric vehicles taxing an aging and overwhelmed infrastructure even more. Makes a ton of sense Brandon.

The Texas grid is privatized – and controlled by republicans.

Biggest transfer of wealth happening under our noses. Pharmaceuticals are being jumbo sized… still pushing the vaccines. Politicians lining their pockets… Nobody cares how the covid originated or if it could happen again with deadlier consequences ? The US nuke official is dressing like a woman and stealing women’s clothes in airports… we are trading WNBA players for mass murderers and leaving our soldiers in foreign prisons. We doubled down on legislation, making it more legal for same sex marriage..? and opened the door for people to marry their pets or other farm animals yesterday …? Yes, we are definitely heading for better days !

Maybe slap on a few more layers of tinfoil. And take a break from the propaganda every once in a while..

So now if we question this stuff we conspirators?? Get a grip. Pretty obvious that there’s a lot of questions on this story. If you think there isn’t, well that’s unfortunate.

I am not surprised by his comment. The comment from Mike is 100% product of what the media has done to some of us. The media lives off this stuff. They turned it political right from the get go as seen in Mikes attachment.

This story screams questioning. One week before a big election is odd. Combine that with bad journalism on a fishy story to begin with. We will never know the truth and hope everyone understands that.

Holy poop you’re so far off the deep end it’s not even funny. You’re just regurgitating right wing talking points. The exact kind of rhetoric that justifies attacks like this. It’s absolutely disgusting you’re cheering on the fact that a man was put into the hospital.

MTG called for Pelosi to be executed. Tom Emmer tweeted #firepelosi along with a video of him shooting a rifle. Yet this attack by a right wing MAGA nut job was just a coincidence, eh? Y’all are a bunch of suckers. Good job getting the homophobia in there as well, just take those masks off now.

Media silence is deafening on this BIG STORY… that speaks volumes.

Seriously? Sad to see the Qanon conspiracy theories are alive and well on this site.

“Young persons might represent a group at high risk because they might have been particularly affected by mitigation measures, such as physical distancing (including a lack of connectedness to schools, teachers, and peers); barriers to mental health treatment; increases in substance use; and anxiety about family health and economic problems, which are all risk factors for suicide,” according to the report.

I don’t see anything about mask wearing in there? Physical distance, sure.

The conservative answer to depression has always been ‘go outside!’. It’s not something you solve with happy thoughts. It takes work, and programs to help the less fortunate who are unable to seek help on their own. And how many LGBTQ youths have been irreparably harmed by the rights stance on those issues? And freedom? Why such a strong need to control women’s bodies then? I assume you’re all pro-choice? Pro cannabis legalization as well, right? Nothing but a party of hypocrites and grifters.

There has been a sharp rise in mental disorders, depression, anxiety, self-harm and suicide with our children caused directly from lockdowns and masking.

    Citation needed.

Yet another talking point trotted out by conservatives while providing no support for programs that provide for mental health care and well being.

The CEO of Canada’s largest trucking company says the carrier is not being severely affected by the cross-border vaccine mandate as most of its drivers are vaccinated.

“Vaccination at TFI is not an issue at all,” TFI International Inc. chairman and CEO Alain Bedard told analysts on a conference call this week, adding the few unvaccinated drivers it employs are being put on domestic Canadian lanes.

He said the biggest issue for the company is employees, mainly in the U.S., who are getting sick with COVID.

Went out of Red Cliff last Sunday. The crowd didn’t seem too bad, but it was my first time there so nothing to gauge it by. We were walking out so stayed within about a mile of the launch to the north. Seemed to be a pretty consistent 18″+ of ice where we were. No real luck with trout, maybe some follows. One 17″ whitefish in 80′ of water. Just about all of the sled / atv traffic was coming back from the north.

Looked like a big pressure ridge to the south, but we didn’t venture that way.

    Statement from Teamsters Canada:

Teamsters Canada is proud to represent over 55,000 professional drivers from diverse industries across the country, approximately 15,000 of which are long haul truck drivers, 90% of whom are vaccinated.

The so-called “freedom convoy” and the despicable display of hate lead by the political Right and shamefully encouraged by elected conservative politicians does not reflect the values of Teamsters Canada, nor the vast majority of our members, and in fact has served to delegitimize the real concerns of most truck drivers today.

We firmly believe in the right to protest government policies and voice a wide array of opinions, but what is happening in Ottawa has done more harm to Teamsters members, be they Truck Drivers who were trying to deliver their loads, or hotel, restaurant and healthcare workers who were intimidated, abused or prevented from accessing their workplaces, by several protesters.

Teamsters Canada would welcome collaboration with government and employers to address today’s real challenges in the trucking industry to keep the supply chain going and Canada’s economy growing.

We join in the calls urging those protesters with legitimate concerns to go back to their own communities and work with local politicians. We are all frustrated and want our lives back, however, let’s ensure we get there respectfully, safely and protect the health of our most vulnerable first.

I did, and I still trust him more than Dr. Fauci who is in bed with the pharmaceutical companies

Meanwhile my fully vaccinated brother-in-law went to the hospital for trouble breathing at the same time I had covid again. Almost like the vaccine didn’t work? Maybe the 7th or 8th booster will get the job done next time for him.

It’s almost like you folks don’t even understand how vaccines work… I’m shocked! Hate to break it to ya’, but there’s only been 1 booster shot. I do know you guys love hyperbole and misinformation, though.

Despite all the uncaring, unvaccinated, the rate is falling? How can that be? Fascinating.

I know you guys typically hate minorities, but luckily in this case it’s the unvaccinated that are in the minority.

900,000 Americans dead and counting! With your guy’s help we can surely hit the million mark!

It’s working. You can see that it’s working by how the narrative is changing in the US within the past few days. Five democratic run states have now reversed course on mask mandates in school. This reversal has nothing to do with science. Instead, they are fearful of the consequences if they don’t reverse course. The VA state senate (democratic controlled) just voted 29-9 in favor of giving parents the right to decide if their kid wears a mask or not.

    roll

Or maybe it’s because, despite a chunk of the population not willing to do a damn thing to protect the health of themselves and others, the daily case rate is falling. The unvaccinated are still dying at much higher rates.. anything to own the libs, right?

    Oh no! A graph!

Republican / right wing hypocrisy? Who’da thunk it? Wonder where the goalposts will move to next..

Ottawa police reported on Sunday they have made multiple arrests and opened more than 60 criminal investigations related to the convoy, mostly for mischief, thefts, property damage, and hate crimes. The force’s hate crime hotline has received more than 200 calls.

They certainly aren’t ingratiating the people of Canada to their already unpopular cause (of the 120,000 Canadian truckers who cross into the U.S., only about 12,000 of them remain unvaccinated.) Confederate flags, Swastikas and Nazi slogans were spotted in the crowd. Videos on social media emerged of protesters dancing and even urinating on the Tomb of the Unknown Solider. Protesters also decorated the statue of famous cancer research advocate Terry Fox with anti-vaccine messaging. Protesters harassed volunteers at a soup kitchen meant for people experiencing food insecurity after they were ejected from restaurants for refusing to wear masks. Anti-vaccine activists lobbed racial slurs and physically attacked both people visiting the kitchen and the people working there

When Nazis are on your side, you may want to re-think your side.

There’s only been one booster in the US, not 5.

It’s funny, with the amount of ‘watch your health’ threads popping up here you’d think folks would be willing to do the bare minimum to protect themselves and others against a virus that’s killed 874,000 Americans in the last 2 years..

Actual counts show that there were maybe a little over 100 trucks participating, but I know facts and accuracy aren’t a big deal for this crowd.

The chief global correspondent for Global News, David Akin, shared statistics from the Ontario Provincial Police which say only 113 trucks were recorded coming from Winnipeg, Manitoba into Thunder Bay, Ontario in the “convoy”.

In a statement, the Canadian Trucking Alliance (CTA) says it “does not support and strongly disapproves” of any protests held on public highways, roadways, and bridges. CTA also says the “vast majority” of Canada’s trucking industry is vaccinated and most of them are busy working, freighting shipments between Canada and the United States, countering the idea 50,000 trucks formed a convoy anywhere in the country.

I’ll second the Amped 32Ah NMC battery. I think it’s the best setup for any of the imaging systems.

That looks like something was stitched in crooked. I picked up a 650XD this year, and while the poles didn’t sit perfect the first use they’ve settled into place after having it out a few times. Didn’t look anything like that, though.

I’d send the pictures to Eskimo and see what they have to say about it.

If you’re ever around the west metro, Microcenter in St. Louis Park has a good selection of 3d printers if you wanted to check them out in person.
