Thorne Brothers and Elk River were there last year. Only ones I can recall. Dick Smiths had rods. Lots of muskie rods/baits and local vendors. Mostly boat show and outfitters. Madison Bass Club will have a 50/50 raffle. Three winners one each day of show. Check out our booth we’re also looking for new members
I feel for ya no ice here in S Wisconsin either. Are lakes have skimmed over and opened back up no less than 3 times. High of 43 today and continued till Sat. Although I did see 50-60 guys fishin a bay today that was open water 2 days ago
If u wanna b mobile n move around flip over is the way to go. Frabill or clam make good ones. If u wanna set up base camp for tip ups or trek off the beaten path to some smaller lakes. I’d go with a pop up. Glen’s army navy makes 3 nice models
I’ve been having good luck with trielene 100% flouro and vanish.2# or 3# for panfish and 6# for eyes. As for deep water 1# power pro or fireline pencil sinker than 3# dropper. Or same braid small swivel and 24″ flouro leader for jiggin raps or spoons to prevent lure spin. Great rod you will enjoy
