Jon,
Thanks for the reply, and clarification on Wisconsin regs.
I should have known the two states would not have the same regulations on a shared body of water. I just wanted to bring some clarification to this issue of transporting and the health of the fish. Remember, there really isn’t any secret spots on that stretch of river, just people being at the right spot, at the right time, and doing something the fish want at that moment, hopefully every thing comes together and you can land it.
Thanks all I’ll get off my soapbox.March 19, 2009 at 12:09 pm #760199Why do people feel the need to haul these nice fish in their livewell and take them to Everets for a picture to inflate their ego. Take a picture right where you are and release it there immediately. I may be wrong but I thought you could not release a fish once it was in your livewell (culling) but I may be wrong. If it was kept for a mount its a shame but his choice.
By the way “nice fish” and congratulations.March 29, 2008 at 8:30 pm #669173I hate to say but I would look at Yamaha, Mercury, Suzuki in that order. The Yamahas and Mercs have great handles made for tillers.
I’m sure that the Etech is a great motor, but there handle is not up to par compared to the others.March 29, 2008 at 3:08 pm #669108Did those get released as well?
I hate to see those females full of eggs being transported around and stressed just for a picture.Nice fish though.
March 22, 2008 at 9:08 pm #668187I have never heard that, they had some problems in the late 90s and early 2000s but they are a very good and fast motor now days including 2004.
June 18, 2007 at 2:22 am #581426I would look at the LCX 27, you should ask yourself the question, are you really going to use the hard drive, if not get the 27. Both units are great, I have a LCX 26 and do not use the hard drive in that.
October 31, 2006 at 1:08 am #23562Just found out that the weekend we are going November 10-13 is also the opener of deer hunting, will this be a problem?

March 3, 2006 at 1:53 am #426111I agree, be carefull what you wish for, I am an ex-marine and would have a problem with it. Don’t take any offense, but women in my opinion, should not be on the front line, so why have them register for the draft.
January 29, 2006 at 3:54 pm #415753I have mine mounted on a board that goes across the back of the boat. With this application the board and downriggers are easily removed when fishing a place where they are not needed.
