That multi connection link you supplied is the one that I use. I would purchase again, as it does clean things up a bit.

I am, may be time to upgrade the Smokercraft side console to a full windshield… I am looking at early to mid 2000 Lund fisherman or the Alumacraft trophy. Certainly need to adjust the price for the transom replacement on the Lund… I have been getting quotes for 3000 to 3500 for that to be done. Seems high, but maybe lots of work involved as well. Any leads on preowned models appreciated.

Rainy river and LOW is a popular place in October, That’s where I will be as well late next week. Long drive, but always worth the trip.

Just another reason to buy products from a local independent dealer, they have a lot on the line and want to take care of the customer. Wait until you need service, that is a disaster as well.

I have a 17′ boat as well, and went with the 60″, works well when in rougher water. It stows away just fine.

are you saying that the water wont drain properly? If that is the case, check the filter, lower left or right side, trap door, water will come out so have towel handy.

Quite a few years ago, the area tourist dept. sent me a complete list of accommodations for the rainy river and south shore of the lake, it is very helpful. 1.800.382.3474 should be the number or let me know and I can get you a copy of it. I have stayed in a few different places and each one has its own advantage. Good luck and have fun.

Indeed only pay tax on the trailer. I purchased WI boat about 3 years ago, and only paid on the value of the trailer.

I used to have the dual fuel, for me it was very messy, smelly, so I switched to the 1 pound tank unit and have had very good results. My lantern has the 2 mantle system, and I added a finger type igniter to it and it works well.

When I got my brit this last spring, I went down to the local library and picked up all the videos that they had avail. I also am using a book Gun Dog. Lots of good info. They videos were very helpful. I have now started training with live birds and must say it is cool to watch even a young dog go on point so quickly. A lot of work, but fun.
