No fear here, I march right up to them and kill them. A garden hoe works great if you can’t shoot them.

And risk jail time for decapitating an innocent lower life form that had no reason to believe they were in an area where they weren’t supposed to be, and your use of the garden hoe is a display of fear because you’re too afraid to let them live. I could suggest another way to get rid of a snakes in your yard, but you probably wouldn’t want to shop for prostitutes who will do “favors” for you. It’s like the old joke where one goes up to a dude and offers to do anything for $10, and you tell her to paint your house or in your case get rid of snakes. The reason I brought up the subject of prostitutes is because of the gardening tool you mentioned that you would use that reminds me of them. As far as Twilight zone goes, there was a singing group called the Fifth Dimension; but Rod had a habit of having nightmare stories; and with no snake and no girlfriend, life can be a nightmare at times.

Better than yours,so with all due respect, maybe you shouldn’t be such a chicken. Earthworms don’t have visible signs of propulsion, but that doesn’t stop people from going fishing. Slugs don’t have visible signs of propulsion and are about as slow as molasses in January, so are you going to turn tail and run if you see one of those? I did my Google homework on crowned snakes; and they are a protected snake as far as killing and catching goes, which means you’d need thousands of dollars if you want one as a pet unless you want to hope you don’t get caught in this country that likes to take away freedom instead of putting a couple of them together on a regular basis so they don’t have to go extinct by breeding them.

I got some comics online to look at, so I’ll just wait until someone wants to tell me about the effects of crowned snake venom if we still have those in Florida where I live. I live in a city part of Florida, and snakes aren’t exactly in abundant supply like these anoles that keep hanging around our house. If I’m in the right mood, I’ll chase them until they’re hidden. I’ve caught a few and would even name one Geico even though they’re anoles. I don’t know what breeders how much work they have to do to get more, but I know they’re one of the cheapest lizards in pet stores. I even offered an anole to a neighbor who has a ball python so he could feed it to the snake, but he said no. They tend to die because I get too lazy to feed and change the water as often as I should; but if I could catch a snake, it would be a different story. I’ve seen a few of them get in the house and hurry faster than normal to catch them because we have enough trouble with bugs and spiders. Last time I went on a hunt for those living rare jewels, I accidentally walked into a stupid spider web. I wish they’d hunt insects and spiders to extinction so we wouldn’t have to put up with them anymore. If it was just spider webs outside, it would be one thing; but when I’m walking out of a restroom door at work and run face first into a cobweb unexpectedly, it’s not exactly fun.

It’s basically my attempt to get people to quit trying to outrun them or kill them just to make a game out of it. They should also consider the saying that there but by the grace of God goes you. In other words, you’re only human because God allowed it when He could’ve easily allowed you to be one even when it comes to being a rattlesnake which is one of the most commonly mutilated and killed and eaten in the United States.

I follow the Lord, but I have seen Scripture that commands us to be as shrewd as serpents but as harmless as doves, and I have a feeling that may be His way of telling us to exercise some responsibility as far as we’re physically or mentally able but to not do things to try to harm people. Also, even though these legless “devils” were cursed by the Lord, the Bible indicates in Isaiah and Psalm that they’ll be in heaven. Isaiah tells us something to the effect of that a child shall put his hand in a cobra’s nest, and Psalm says that the Lord shall preserve people and animals, and Isaiah was a prophet. I thought of a definition of a cobra to mean something besides a deadly snake, but I’d better keep that to myself under the circumstances. Here’s something to really think about when it comes to snakes. Seven is one of the Lord’s favorite numbers, and there are seven letters in the word serpent. Obviously they all would’ve gone extinct if God despised them too much.
