I have fished for panfish in 10′ of water and could tell the size difference and when a northern or bass was coming into the picture. You might have to turn the head around to get a feel for the weeds and other structure. This was with a LVS32. I would like to think the 34 should give you even better separation.

Randy I copied this but I know its correct: A Garmin LVS 34 LiveScope transducer typically has a beam angle of around 20 degrees wide by 135 degrees long; meaning the sonar beam is narrow in the vertical plane (20 degrees) and wide in the horizontal plane (135 degrees)

And yes you seeing the correct depth to what ever you set it at and the width of the 20 degrees will widen the deeper you are and when in forward facing you are seeing out as far as 150′ at that width.
    Hope this make sense.

I am not far from B-man and I would guess we got 2 to 3″ at the most. More came during the dark hours then what we got all day. Now we need to make more ice !

It looks like we are going to chill down starting Tuesday night and hit single digits at night for the rest of the week. Not much snow so the ice making will continue.

We would sit in my buddy’s basement playing ping pong and listen to the games on the radio. My buddy’s aunt got season tickets but could not make every game so she would give them to us. We lived in New Hope but the bus line at the time only ran to Robinsdale. We would get a ride to Robinsdale and take the bus to downtown. Move over 1 block and catch the bus to the sports center. Reverse the process to get home but needed to call someone to pick us up. We had a way to get outside the locker room inside the building to get autographs. I had all of the top North Stars. JP Parise, Bill Goldsworthy, Gump Worsley, Ceaser Maniago, Disk Hextall. When they moved it pissed me off for weeks and we knew we were close to winning the Stanly cup and they did it in Dallas. F#$@ the NHL.

I was the biggest hockey rube back then. Never missed a game and went to many of the home games. I was so pissed when they left that I swore I would never watch hockey again. I have never seen more than 10 minutes of the Wild. Still irritates the living F@#$ out me that the NHL let them leave. Won’t watch the Doc because I just don’t care !!

7.1 feet and the shallower will make the diameter smaller. Deeper it will get larger.

If you use forward facing and not straight down and put the unit close to one end of the shack you might get all if at 20′ or deeper. It is 20 degrees wide and 135 degrees long and at 20′ deep it will be 7.1 wide. If straight down then the center might be better because of the 7′ radius.

I see that the game is going to be a white out to include the helmets. Interesting look with the all white uni’s.

We are at -17 right now. Making some good ice at this rate. Almost wish it would last longer then 3 days to make driving on the ice with the truck come a little sooner, but then come the crowds as well.

The tank will be screwed on horizontally and needs to be vertical in order for the vent to work that lets the air escape when filling. So I won’t do it.

If you use a tank and hose make sure to bleed the line with something narrow like forceps or a nail. That will eliminate the the problem highbreeze mentioned.

I do the same thing and one other thing that helps is to have a small torch lighter and heat up the thermocouple and turn the gas to wide open. You will see air coming out of the line until it finally lights the gas. The only thing bad about the 10′ hose but at least the tank is on the outside.

My last 3 Amazon orders have been late. I’m getting kind of tired of the big A. When you go to track your orders and the day they’re supposed to show up you see that they haven’t even been shipped yet is really getting disgusting.

Funny because most of my orders this week have been a day ahead of time. Kinda like how it use to be when ordering with Prime.

Its been years but I have installed a P2P system in a lumber mill to allow cameras to cover the entire yard and all record to one head unit. It had a small dish that needed to see the other dish and the in turn connected to a port on a router. It really was a simple install considering I had never seen one before the install. I wish I could remember the name of the company cause it was not too expensive if I recall.

When I do my next batch of breakfast sausage it’ll go into the 1-pound chubs. Those sheep casings are the pits. I have a mess of pork casings for the bratwurst and they’re a whole lot nicer to work with than sheep casings so the brats will still go into them. Some sausage just does better in the chubs or what may be construed as bulk.

Sticks and summer and ring bologna need casings, so I’ll stuff them and not gripe. But those breakfast sausages in sheep casings are the pits so in part I’ll agree with the bulk stuff.

I am sort of like you. Even my Old Fashion hot dogs are stuffed into brat casings. My breakfast sausage will all be bulk in one pound vac sealed bags. I did pick up some of Fraboni’s breakfast seasonings. Never tried it but I do like there links from Super One.

This summer we camped at the Deer lake campground on Cutfoot. I was surprised at how much it has changed in the area. I am on the list at Little Winnie Resort and Campground but it may take a few years to get in. I love the area and all that it has to offer.

When I found Butts for $1.29 I picked up 3 whole butts. I would guess it will add up to 45lbs once deboned. This week it will be cold enough for me to start processing. I like it to be cold out so I can set the grinder/stuffer/meat on the deck.

Does Toyota still push the 10k oil changes? I know several people that had 2 year maintenance packages with a new Toyota and dealer would not change oil unless 10k from last oil change.

Yes they do. My wife took almost 15 months to get to that point. She works from home. I installed a Fumoto valve and do my own. Looks like I will have to do the same on the wifes Rav4.

I have a 2020 and have had 0 problems. It tows my boat like it not even there. My 27′ travel trailer tows great but you know its back there. I wish it had a larger payload but that is my only complaint. I bought during Covid and got a great price along with 0% financing. It was my retirement present toast

Ammo is nice, I like ammo. I use ammo often. I hate having to buy ammo although I do, often.

    Ammo is a nice gift.

I bet all of the ones that had the batteries go bad were Duracell or just cheap batteries. I never use anything but Eveready batteries or rechargeable. I have had way to many Duracell open up and corrode the contacts and end up wrecking what ever they are in.

I have to believe that with all of the people choosing FFS it has to hurt the sales of flashers. I myself have not brought my flasher fishing in a few years.
