thank you bill boyd for the report if you could stay in contact with me on here and give me some reports for the next upcoming weeks that would be fantastic and very helpful, i can see that it suppose to get really cold up there these next few weeks so im hoping that can create some really good ice as long as the wind dies down. stay in touch thank you so much!

id like to see a show on how to fish bodies of water that are heavily fished, and have a lot of boat traffic such as metro lakes, that are well known to most anglers and show what kind of presentations work in the summer time to get fish to bite on the reaction strike, whether it would be fishing lipless cranks or jerk baits or rippin raps, or anything else that would trigger a reaction strike, whether its fishing bass walleye or pike would love to see a show like that .

I’ve had a lot of success with rattle spoons. And yeah fishing the breaks is what I’ve been doing every time I’ve gone up there haven’t got on a decent perch bite yet. But have caught my fair share of walleyes ranging from 14-18. I’m going there to hoping to catch a big walleye. But if it doesn’t happen and still catch a bunch of smaller ones I’d be OK with that.

How did you do on saturday? I was not fishing far from the rental you were fishing out of. I found 30ft with lots of numbers of smaller walleye averaging 14-17 inches and tulibee.

I to will most likely be going out of red door. Went out of that resort last weekend and found 30ft of water with a lot of numbers. No real big fish were iced. Any report will be greatly appreciated cal. Thank you!

Ok. I would imagine the ice is safe enough to walk on there. Your info was much appreciated. With the warm front coming in hopefully it will spike the bite for some walleyes and crappies. I will give it a try this weekend and will post feedback. Thanks Tom!

By any chance do you know if the ice is safe by the river outlet like to get on a decent walleye bite with some mix of crappies as well.
