I just got one of these and have to say they hold the spot better than a i pilot. I fish the river and the +5 feature works awesome on the wing dams. sat side by side with a terrova and he was losing ground back and forth in the same current it is deffintely holds the spot better. There is a youtube link with it holding by a bouy on the river. I was at an outdoor show and was considering buying the ipilot and Hutch (hutch fishing tackle) didn’t bat an eye recommending this. With that being said i dont have good luck with stuff and right out of the box the gps didnt work. Called motorguide and the next day I had the new module at the door. (Great service on that) I also like the two year warranty. It has worked great ever since. Takes me alittle to get used to since I have had minnkota and a cable drive since I bought the boat. I think when i get to some lake fishing the spot lock feature might not be that big of deal but on the river it is huge.

Should try sw shooters supplies and prospecting. Out of Cordova Illinois. I just got 2 bricks for 22.50 apiece. Kenny or chuck will be glad to help you out. Or carbon cliff bait and tackle had some few weeks ago. Good luck

Its just a five hour ride one way. If you bring your pole you might be able to fish out of their tank

Pool 14 isnt that big. They were maybe 20 miles from the launch. With the current flow, that would be less than 3 hours travel time

Well i dont post on here much but the current flow cant be more than 1-2mph and where the fish were released there is severaal eddies the fish wouldve been pushed to shore just my 2cents

Well thanks again for the ride. It sure was nice to fish without a 30mph wind. They sure do look purty this time a year.

Im a bowhunter but love to see a person harvest their biggest deer and yet listen to them what if it had another year! Im all all there for there for tasting the great walleye, but for filleting a 20 some incher to eat, everyone on here goes the same way. Give me a nice 16 incher and satisfy my tastebuds and lets see what we can grow. I love the slot it let me catch the biggest walleye of my life and a friend of mine also. Without this I coulndnt enjoy this like I do. Shoot all the deer sooooooner a later you wont be chasing big bucks you will be chasing a grocery store
