yes vote count at these things their were many many people that wanted the 3rd zone some did not but most the hunters polled ont the mississippi did want this it was big numbers in the poll like 75% to 25% and the 25% most said they were done hunting hard by rut time that left the rest of us time to shine at these meeting those of us that wanted it i also have been in contact with 3 diffrent people that have told me the 3rd zone will now stay and we can fine tune the date to the liking on the miss. i kow for one that most of the groups i hunt with will be signing a petion to make it start first sat. in oct. or even 1 week later have the split and try to get it closer to christmas i for one hunt all pools and their is always open water you just have to be willing to go to it “hints fair weather hunters are gone” cause it too cold and they dont want to work for a good hunt….just my .02

ok sully here is my two cents worth in the little that i know. i dont know of any good e collars that transfer over
not to say they arent out their as far as e collars are i have tried dt, dogtra, sport dog, and tri tronics i have labs. when it comes to collars we use and abuse the hell out of them waterfowl hunting all over wi, mn, and the dakotas from Sept till dec and upland tourneys from dec till april and then pheasnt and chukar all summer crazy temp changes and lotts of water. i would only buy one brand of collar hands down the tried and true tri tronics
and not the CHEAP sport version go with a good one i would go talk to john west at scheels he knows a fair amount but i dealwith tri tronics my self and they have not only had the best costumer service but been the most knowlageable then any otheir e collar company. dont fall for the fm transmit BS from dt its [censored] but hey its just my 2 cents know one elses

just people looking to hunt fall turkey old school so they got it changed to use dogs you should try it

i agree to a point about on shore or high ground but i also think their is a time and a place for boat blinds i use mine about 50% of the time and its worth it when i do use it i would look if your going to buy one buy a good one like a mud buddy shaggy blind a couple guys that i hunt with have them and they are really nice worth every penny

do you remeber the guys name from wisconsin just wondering i know these blood lines very well and know some top runners at the tourneys these dogs and blood lines are in

i used to use the glue that scheels hear in town has but gluing them only seems to work for awhile not a total fix all

du and the local sportsmans club that im on the board some times i throw an odd one ine but i think over the years ive lost money but in the last three years ive been hitting it good a muzzle loader, and all of $400 worth the duck and goose calls the newest one was a death row inmate comp. goose call that pretty much paid 4 my night
