Had the same issue with my car ABS light and ECS light came on and cruise control wouldn’t work. For me it was the brake light switch on the footpedal maybe something to look into. From what I’ve read the disc that pushes the plunger on the switch maybe worn not allowing switch to make. Mine was intermittent disc was fine was the switch 20 bucks and five minutes good to go.

September 20, 2024 at 1:06 am #2290133If you come down to the orchards in Gays Mills WI you can pick up bare root trees cheap 10-15 bucks all kinds of varieties, usually have ads on FB. I didn’t want the expense of a fence so I hung cheap soap bars on them and does a good job keeping the bucks from rubbing, ya may have a few deer nip the ends off but I look at it as pruning. Depending on weather they need watering the first year. One other thing I would look at getting disease resistant trees too. Good luck

February 10, 2023 at 3:07 am #2180599Will be my first time this year and everything I’ve read is timing is key Ice out. Hard to plan with a work schedule so asked around average time and was told first second week of april. So I booked a place for april 8-12th Now we are getting warmer temps and I see the ice is breaking up already on areal view. So booked another place for march 12-16th. We’ll have to see how it goes but the blood is pumping that we hit it with some decent action.
November 26, 2022 at 2:23 am #2161692Yes I had a Remington 700 years ago. Not sure if they have anything new but wouldn’t recommend pain in the ass tearing down compared to the new break open and thumbscrew breach plug removal. I have a TC pro hunter and is nice but still need a wrench to remove plug two years later they redesigned and no wrench needed.
November 26, 2022 at 2:15 am #2161690Unfortumately the owner wouldn’t let me dig it it so I improvised the best I could this year to make it blend in. Didn’t take long for them to flock to it daily. Can see they still want water, or they enjoy hoof skating LOL

October 17, 2022 at 10:37 pm #2153368I have a heater body suite and they are awesome for stand sitting for other uses not so much, no arms LOL. Bought a simple fleece vest Ororo brand so far for fishing turkey and deer hunting works great.
October 13, 2022 at 10:29 pm #2152561First year I put a tank out it got scummy bad since then I haven’t had an issue. People that have been doing it a long time also recommend adding dirt to the water not having pure fresh water. bought another tank this year made especially for a deer pond which is maybe 10″ deep but is a 70 gallon tank and is coated with a textured dirt material. Not that cheap but you don’t have to dig deep holes which is nice, and no stick needed because of the tapered sides and texture. Once they find them they are on it.
October 11, 2022 at 11:15 pm #2152000Always walked until a few years ago getting older and not into walking up hills and getting all sweaty. Started using wheeler to get up the hill and walk from there. Things I’ve noticed is as long as your moving doesn’t really affect most deer especially the does, mature bucks I believe is a different story. I think I’m messing up stands that are along the hill road, so this year I upped my game and bought an e bike. Wow things are amazing, used it twice now and I can cover a mile of ground in 7 min. I wasn’t looking to break the bank on an experiment so I opted for a 15000.00 bike and so far very pleased.
May 20, 2022 at 8:45 pm #2125907mounted mine on starboard side otherwise you’ll not be able to reach and you’d have to remove your ladder as well. As far as bolting I just clamped mine with a thin piece of rubber overlapping the transom. I can’t recall if you can get in behind the livewell if you decided to bolt it. Mines hung on a 2018 comp. 185 tiller
April 28, 2022 at 5:26 am #2119860I’d buy an identical gun and tell grandpa he just didn’t feel comfortable shooting it at this time and let the boys share the single shot for when they feel more comfortable as a plinking gun they both can share. good luck

November 12, 2021 at 3:45 am #2073337Sold batteries for years and our reps always told us it’s not the cold that kills a battery it’s the heat from the summer that weakens them but you notice it in the winter when it usually cranks harder. If it’s boat batteries put a good charge in them and they will be fine as long as you had no issues during the summer.

Deer cannot see color, I’m sure you know that. That’s actually a myth. Deer can see color, most science indicates they perceive color differently than we do, but they certainly see color.
IMO deer now know to look in stands. It’s more important to hide the hunter than the stand. The deer will know the stand is there no matter what.
Agree totally no camo can hide an enclosed blind it’s all about them getting used to it and feeling that its part of there home now

February 12, 2021 at 12:52 am #2014402If you look the last time wi opened wolf hunting they where closing it down within days of the opening most guys trapping then shooting. I’m ok with that, it just tells ya we have a wolf problem if they are closing units down so fast because the quota is filled. then we go years without a wolf season. Makes no sense to me.
