x2 on the bass oreno. I had two of them from my grandpa that he purchased 50+ years ago. Last year the line broke on the last one I had. It was one of the only top waters that I could do a few different retrieves with consistently. Great lure.

I was in a similar position one month after buying a brand new boat. I brought waders and that made it easier to get the travel cover on in the water. Could you put something (bucket) under the place where it leaks?

Fishing technology has and will continue to evolve. Some have more of an impact than others. FFS is great (I use it), but I don’t think it’s had the greatest impact on fishing. IMO that award goes to GPS mapping. We wouldn’t think of fishing Mille Lacs without mapping today.

Luka’s three on Rudy was a coaching mistake. I think Finch is a great coach, but with the Wolves up 2, the only type of defense you play is to force a two pointer and no fouls. Then you either win or you’re tied with the ball. Either way, the season was well beyond what I ever thought it would be.

No. I don’t post often, but read and enjoy most of the posts. If I feel a thread has gotten too far off the rails, then I won’t read it (hasn’t happened yet). I believe this site is the top fishing forum available and that the “extra” topics help drive traffic and, therefore, longevity to the site.

I have a Helix 12 running directly to the battery with an inline fuse. 10ga wire.

I’ve used the AquaVu Micro Revolution Pro 5.0 for two seasons now and would not go back to something without the reel system. I do a lot of scouting and find myself using it more than my old one because of the cable management. It works well in the sunlight and can deploy and reel up quickly. It fits in my pocket. I have the Pro, but don’t think it’s really worth the extra money.

Do you guys use these hooks for tip ups? Do you hook the minnow on the offset hook?

Muck Arctic Pros work great for me. I usually don’t fish in a house and I can’t remember my feet ever getting cold. The grip is great, however, I thought I saw they now offer a pair with even better grips. The fit around the calf is comfortable and I can kneel without them pushing into my ankle or leg. I haven’t tried the Lacrosse so I can’t compare.

Hi Tony. Did you go to Wekusko? Have you been there in the winter? I’m considering a winter trip.
