He wasn’t shot, sorry it took so long to get back to you. We have many pictures of him before and after he dropped sheds. Just a little ruffle in the hair. Anybody get any sheds lately or the snow keep ya in?

Slingshot is an awesome looking deer. It will be cool to see what he grows into.

I hope Frank stays around too, hopefully he did and does some more breeding. He has been around for 2 years now. We got his sheds and trail pics from last year. He really blew up this year. I think he gained somewhere around 35-40 inches this year so we will see what happens.

Here are some pictures of Rudolph, the wide 8, Frank, and one other I hope to get the sheds of, Clutch. The picture with the broken g3 is the Wide 8. Also, the last one is Clutch. Do you guys think he is broken or just grows like that?

Ok, Its been a few years ago, but a fella who works for a famous catalog outifitting business told me that pepole fish for eyes in the calamus during the spawn. Anyone have any comments on this? I know the locals would rather take a 30 caliber round to the chest than divulge any info to outsiders about that lake. I would assume that the water coming in would still be very cold. I just wonder if very cold is 47 degrees or colder. Anyway, its been a few years since the story and the details are very cloudy etc etc. I may see If I can catch up with him this week and try and refresh the story and get more details. I was just hoping that there would be someone out there who is wreckless enough to cut loose with some info.
