My Matrix 360 has faded to the point I don’t use it anymore. The greens have turned a light blue and I don’t know what to do with it. Hate to throw away a $400 blind but it sticks out like a sore thumb.
SAME 4 Me!!

Nice to finally see some pictures without them being at a pile of corn or at a lick. Great photo.

Lucky Buck is a great attractant with the apple smell that will carry for miles. But 64% salt doesn’t help the deer out much. While everyone on here has their personal favorites the question was when to start a mineral site
This topic says mineral/salt lick in the first place. Guess you dont know much about Lucky Buck, the salt is in there so they can’t consume Unhealthy amount of the mineral that is in Lucky Buck. Deer will only consume so much salt and thats it. This way they can have high levels of the minerals they need. Care to let us know what kind you of mineral you use?

I freshened mine last week and will every 3 weeks from now until Oct 1
X2 Lucky Buck Mineral is what I found to be the best
Thats to bad that someone didn’t put him to the ground with an arrow. That being said very cool find for some lucky fella.
Not good!! I hope everything works out for them and they can pick up the pieces and move forward from this sad news.

I say the opposite 200 lbs for $75 bucks is cheap but I doubt it will do anything for your deer except make them thirsty
I would look strongly at a product made specifically for deer. I know my days of buying trace mineral from the co-op are over.
X2!!!! Lucky Buck Mineral 4 me

Well I could write a whole book on what I would like the WIDNR to change, but here are a few things that I would really like to see changed:
1.) Allow the archery season to continue during the rifle season. I love the tradition of the 9 day rifle season, and spending time with my family & friends, but hate the fact that I can’t bowhunt during it.
2.) Elimination of the early antlerless season. Never makes much sense to me why they would want to carry this out early anyways, as it educates the deer, and makes the rifle season less effective in my opinion. If they want to have an antlerless only season, make it in December, when there deer are easier to pattern, and forced to hit food sources during daytime.
3.) Establish an antler point system to grow more mature bucks. This would also encourage the shooting of anterless deer if they are so concerned that they have and overabundance of them, and the need for 2 additional antlerless seasons.
4.)Eliminate deer drives on public land during the rifle season. 10-20 person deer drives on a public piece of property where no one is sure of what lies ahead of them is downright dangerous. How many people need to get shot before this gets changed?
Sorry for the vent, I guess i’m a man of many opinions.
All great points though!!!
X2
I really wish #1 would happen. I really dont understand why they won’t let you use archery equipment during the firearms season. Heck I would even buy a firearms tag to be able to hunt with archery equipment during the 9 day firearm season!!!
It was a GREAT show!!! Talk about getting you pumped up for this fall
Just found out there will be an official scorer at this event. It will be on a first come first serve basis. If you are interested in getting your buck scored I would be there early.
Nice day on finding those sheds!!! How many of those Bud Light measuring devices did you drink after that?
They are trying to get an official scorer for the Whitetail Expo on Feb. 26 at the Bluff’s Bar and Grill in Hager City,WI if you want to check that out.
What do you think looks alot like the same deer eh? this buck was hit by a car a year ago and didn’t think he would make it because the cut was all green last winter.
I know that buck he is 3.5 if you want more pictures of him I will post them . The only buck I know that has a scar like that on his right rear quarter.
