Don’t own one, but what about the Suzuki 4-Strokes? Was leaning towards one of those on a new duck boat rig (before new kitchen appliances became “a priority”. Comments from Suzuki owners?

Waiting to try my new offshore planer boards yet, but they recommend the “red clip” for super lines. Has anyone tried those on the boards with super lines? Also purchased the tattle tail flags. Any comments on them?

Have used a Garmin GPS 12 for 4 years. Simple, reliable, and inexpensive. No maps, but they don’t do me much good anyway. 12 satellites, quick acquisition, 500 waypoints, stores 20 routes, I think. Just got a cigarette lighter adapter and bracket for the boat for use there, and it’s easy on batteries for when hunting, or what-ever. Only drawback is it’s got a relatively small screen, but haven’t found that to be a problem.

New to FTR and Pool 4, but so didn’t feel I could offer much advice, except, I agree with RiverEyes. Spend a little time on this great site…both in the discussion forum archives and library. Lots of great info. there. It’s only cost me a couple hundred bucks so far for different tackle!
