No, Prescott doesn’t let you get the bait yourself any more, but it is still 100 times better then the bait store in Hastings!

I stopped in the shop in Hastings last week and b!tched about the price of fatheads and she said “Bait doesn’t pay the bills!” that sucked. Whenever possible, I go to Prescott. If you bring Brian K with you, they will let him pick out all females for you!

Agree, the coach wasn’t the big problem, but the coach is always the first to go.

McArdles on Winne. Located right where the river enters the lake. Docks are tucked in. No matter how rough the lake gets, the dock are alway protected. They have some older rustic cabins and newer ones too.

Try going to any auto repair shop or tire shop. Ask them if they have any wheel weights that are being discarded. Many shops have them and are more than willing to part with them for free. Good Luck in your search!

I use 2-3 lbs cubed venison chunks browned with 2 onions, 2 quarts beef stock, add (chopped) 4 carrots, 2 parsnips, 2 turnips, 2 cups celery, 1lb fresh green beans, 1 can garbanzo beans, 1 can stewed tomato’s, 1 can tomato paste, 1 teaspoon salt, pepper, thyme, basil, 2 bay leaves, add water if needed. Simmer for at least 2 hours then add 1/2 cup barley and 1/2 cup Acini Di Pepe pasta.

    Sounds great!

Personally, I would go with either the Offshore or Church walleye board. Both are tried and true boards used by fisherman from Mille Lacs to the Great Lakes.
