    Dave :

We knew you weren’t in the same boat with Rivereyes , his boat only holds two and the other spot is reserved for the pup.

If I had $40K I’d bank it , I’m happy with the ones I have.

I’m with you a 100%, I have caught more fish this year on the river than ever before. I just read the advise of all of the people catching fish and go do it. I just read the Tuck/Rivereyes advise on trolling cross current and cann’t wait to try it. I Love this site.

I have 3 G-Loomis IMX and a half dozen other miscellous rods and even a poor to average fisherman like me can tell the difference.I’ll not buy another inexpensive rod.

Sounds like fun to me. But if I have any chance to win anything, you’ll have to including sheepies.

My wife is a writer. Writers don’t call stories like that lies, or tall tales or even fish stories. They refer to them as “Memoirs”. Thanks for sharing your memoir with us.

fished pool 5 on Saturday , 30 or so smallmouths on cranks, mostly rip rap, fish were very shallow, if you were 12″ from the bank you didn’t get fish.

I’m a little concerned about ole Rivereyes there. He seems to have lost some of his git up and go. Looking back at the postings it seemed to happen right after he fished with James…….. That fishing all day must have been to hard on him. I guess when you get to be his age you have to limit yourself some.

    Pup:

I didn’t realize Riverside still fished, I thought he just sat in his rocker, or is that off his rocker, either way, I thought he just sat there and talked about the good ole days.

I’m a little concerned about you. Where do all these strange ideas you get come from. I think you need a day off, go fishing or something.

I have no map , but I have a friend, even if he does fish from a Tuffy, who fishes that river all the time. Check with him -Terry Ludwikowski at [email protected] , he might be able to help if you havn’t found what you need yet.

I am a MN. resident , my son-in-law and daughter live in Wis. He has an individual license, she has none . Can she still fish on my family license , what about my grandkids? I also have a Wi license can I take my record sheepshead to Wi if caught on the river? What about my grandkids. And do I now get to vote in Wi?

    Thanks Dinosaur:

I was feeling guilty for fishing Tetonka at Waterville after work on Friday instead of going to the river. But Tetonka flows into the Cannon River, that would make it pool one of the Cannon,as River Eyes would call it, I feel better already. I won’t have to visit my Therapist after all.

I talked to Terry Blood at Wendys by Cabela’s last night they had 37 follows or fish on the 8th. I guess if I wanted to go musky fishing I look up Terry McQuoid’s Guide Service

    Rivereyes:

As long as you are looking I’d be interested if shaded areas on the river are measureablely cooler, ie sun behind the bluffs etc. does that have any effect on Eyes or shad either one, or on sunny days are the shaded areas more productive, less productive, or no difference and if the areas shaded by the bluffs are more productive is it because of the shade or the onset of nightfall? We appreicate you doing the research and letting us all know.

Just a note about bearings, Timkins are good, and there are others that are also ok, but be careful . From experience in the transmission business I’d suggest want to stay away from the Peer made in China bearings you see Kit packaged at many marine dealers and Cabela’s. I don’t care how good your grease is if bearings are of substandard quality they will not last.
