Yellow Dog hey i am really close to the dam about 1/4 mile up. Are you on the lake somewhere?

Looks like you guys did a great job. Fished off my Dock all evening Sunday and finally am learning that it isnt the dead sea. Had great luck tipping leaches on a Jig, and letting them sink. Caught about five walleye all total, no trophies by all means but its a start. When is Sturgeon season open and do you only find them near the dams? How deep where you guys fishing the smallies?

Yeah Every now and then i get out on the lake, but havent bought a boat lift yet. No of where i can get one cheap? I have tried crawlers with a harness and bobber fishing as well as some sucker and crappie minnows. A few crankbaits also. The only catch so far has been a 11″ walleye. Im pretty much in the gravel and just bordering a pretty good drop in the water. What would be the primary fish to look for in this area. Panfishing here seems slim to none.

Greetings all. It looks like it has been awhile since anyone has posted on here. Just moved to Lake and live on the big lake just up from the Dam. I love to fish off my dock in the evening, any angling advice, pointers as to what bait to use and what to fish in this area?
