That light is long gone. We used two other different styles that were close. One was Maxxima Series III, which should still be available, the other was TH Marine oval light. It would be similar to what we used, but now they are LED.
September 30, 2019 at 10:01 am #1881640I just saw the PM you sent. Sorry about that, I don’t log in here very often anymore. Tank. That would be 20 gallons.
On the windshield, I’m afraid there are no more. Gold Leaf Plastics in St Cloud Mn is who made those. I’m not sure if they still have the tooling or not.
July 24, 2019 at 1:38 pm #1869332We put it back in the line up around 2007 or so and it stayed in the lineup thru 09. Melrose did build a couple, but not many. When we put it back in the lineup, it was re-labeled V1783. The 177 never really went away, it just wasn’t in the brochure every year.

February 21, 2019 at 2:07 pm #1837361In 2008, that was our trailer that we built in house. We used Kodiak brakes. Quality Trailer, now known as Rockwell America in Freeport Mn can help you. Any decent marine dealer can get Kodiak parts. Most trailer brands run them.
September 18, 2018 at 8:03 pm #1798302Sorry, just coming back to this. Believe it or not, I had to go look at my brochures to remember which windshield your boat has. You have the latest version. Melrose might have a couple left. But…you will have to go thru a dealer. The part number is W2000.
If they don’t have one, I would try Gold Leaf and see if they still have the mold. Its going to be a long shot, but might be worth it. I would start with Melrose. I know when I left there, there were still some on the shelf.
September 17, 2018 at 7:54 am #1797888That one can be a little more difficult. I think the tooling for that windshield is now gone. Gold Leaf Plastics in St Cloud is who made them for a really long time. You would have to contact them and see if they still have the tooling. There were a number of different windshields that they made for us. They will ask for a part number. I’ll look tonight and dig my book out and get you the part number as I don’t recall it off the top of my head. To many International school bus part numbers in my head these days….
August 27, 2018 at 10:15 am #1793967Very good. Most people get confused on boat parts and think they are specific to brand. All builders use the same parts. Glad you got it taken care of.
August 22, 2018 at 1:15 pm #1793131Send me a picture of the filler neck that’s on it. If its the one that I think it is, it was NLA a long time ago. If I know what you have, I can get you pointed in a direction that should work. [email protected]
August 22, 2018 at 12:16 pm #1793116They still use the same filler neck. Google Attwood 911806. Is it that one? Or is it just a straight neck without the vent fittings. That model year was right around the time we changed fuel plumbing. We only ever used Attwood filler necks, except when someone wanted a locking cap, then I used Perko.

April 12, 2018 at 8:53 am #1767095You have no idea how much that made my day. I love to hear when people love the boats we built.
April 12, 2018 at 8:38 am #1767090No problem. Yes, if you are pulling the carpet out, then it makes it a much easier job. The floor section for the livewell is glassed in pretty well. It takes quite a bit of cutting to get it out, but it can be done. Then you can glass in a sub floor and make that area more of a compartment. You should still have my email address? When you get to that point, I can help you if need be.

April 12, 2018 at 7:58 am #1767080Tim,
On your boat, the front livewell is attached the underside of the casting deck. It has screws that hold it to the deck and it was then glassed to that section of floor. It was then installed as one big piece. I’ve cut them out before going thru the opening in the deck. Take the door/frame out. Its not fun or easy by any means. Then you would want to finish that area somehow. That area is going to be fairly wet as it is open to the trolling motor battery compartment and then going back to the fuel tank. What I’ve told people is to just plug the drain and overflows and just use it as storage as it is. Then if you sell the boat, the livewell is still there.February 22, 2018 at 9:56 am #1754340Sounds good Tim. I’ll keep an eye out for it. I don’t monitor the boards as much anymore. Let me know what you need and I’ll help as much as I can.
February 22, 2018 at 9:08 am #1754310No,
All models are 18 degree deadrise, except 2121. V2121 has 21 degree deadrise.

February 22, 2018 at 9:05 am #1754307Power Charge does not have fuses in the plugs. I did not design or manufacture it that way. If it has fuses in the plug, then its been modified. If you need help with Power Charge, I can help you..

August 29, 2007 at 12:55 pm #604152French Lake Auto Parts has tons of stuff. More than likely they would have one.
July 11, 2007 at 8:23 pm #589198Erick,
A 115 Opti has a max RPM of 5750. You are 750 Rpm short. I would play around with some props. You really should run as close to the top of the RPM range as possible.Troy
June 4, 2007 at 11:45 am #577593Thanks Glenn. I appreciate it. Too bad the weather kept some people away. Maybe we can do the “on the water day” again so others will have the chance to drive the boats.
TroyJune 4, 2007 at 11:42 am #577592Shoot me an e-mail. Should be able to find a 1890 for you. 2090’s are a little harder to come by in the used side…but may be able to find one.Let me know exactly what you are looking for, i.e: motor brand, color, things like that.

April 5, 2007 at 1:58 pm #557406Back in the day, when I was growing up in the family dealership…we used a pontoon trailer to transport boat lifts. Worked well…but we did it all the time so it was very easy. I would think that a four place snowmobile trailer would work great to move a lift. It would be wide enough that you would not have to worry about it being tippy…..should be to just get on the road and roll without any problems.

March 5, 2007 at 6:10 pm #544830Hi Guys,
Thanks for the interest in our new line. Cabelas-Rogers actually has their boat on the sales floor. I needed the one that most of you saw. The one on the floor is a different color. For those that are interested in seeing the boat, we will have both the 188 XRS and 208 XRS at the NorthWest SportShow in Mpls. in March. The dates for the show are Mar. 27- Apr.1. As both Charlie Brandt and Jeff Allen said, please feel free to contact either Dan ( my brother in law) or myself with any questions. You can also contact Charlie at Cabelas, he is in the Boat Sales Dept. Charlie’s personnal (188 XRS) boat will be done in the very near future. If anyone is interested in taking a ride, I am sure Charlie would be more than happy to do that. For the guys that are further north, we are planning on having both boats at the show in Alexandria,Mn. That is the Minnkota Outdoors Show at the Viking Plaza mall right in Alex. The show dates are: Mar 16-18 th.
Thanks
