Will you pay for the juice you use. Also, we you let me take it out when you are not using it?

Why is it that many use the judge and ALL tournaments I’ve been in use it – yet the DNR uses a board with a yard stick/ruler nailed down to it. And then they wonder why we have a fish 1/8″ over the size limit…..Um, the Judge is the JUDGE – use it —–it is accurate.

Must be really bad. I remember fishing the 2002 and 2003 LOTW championships in nearly 10+ ft. seas. Back then Mike would only call off for lightning. A lot of broken boat parts and equipment back then. Good for the ol’ back and boat to just call it off when the water is that choppy.

Many of these Weekend Warriors have no clue that they are violating basic fishing etiquette. Some time a few “words” does a lot of good and can be enlightening to them.

Acutally, the FHS premium chip is pretty good. Where else are you going to get a digital high def. map of pool 2?

Have my whole network setup with Avast. It’s just as good or better than the big box brand paid subscription anti-virus software. I also recomment Zonealarm firewall and Ad-aware spyware remover. Both are free and keep me safe and secure like a warm blanket in winter.

15 miles!? Heck, I drive 35 miles one way just to get a chance to fish down there. Closer to 40 if I drive down to the 494 ramp. I suppose that launch will be closed for a few days now. Hopefully, it will be reopened by next weekend.

That’s what I was thinking too – Gary Roach. Ya that technique has been around probably just as long as I’ve been alive. The Old Man Roach Rig.

Wow, sounds like some brutal conditions and a lot of work to catch some walleyes. I think I’ll just stick to Pool 2 for now.

It’s a big fish but no way it breaks the 41 lbs. record.

Rootski, was that you with the chocolate lab at Lilydale yesterday (Sat. afternoon). Was the park patrol giving you a hard time about the dog not being on a leash? Those guys need to focus more on the riff raff going on around the launches then about dogs.

Instead of bumping this thread up everyday, do a little research of your own. Use your experience of walleye/rivers to figure things out. I get a lot of satisfaction figuring the bite out myself than I do getting spoon-feed information. A lot of info on this site is GREAT information, but enough is enough!

So weekends are busy. What about weekdays. I have Thursdays off and was thinking about making a couple of trips to the river. I have never fished pool 4 and wouldn’t like to start with the crowds out in full-force.
