    eyedoctor20,

If you are looking to upgrade to a bigger tiller, I just posted my Warrior 2090 Backtroller with a 130HP Honda 4-stroke tiller on the classified section. I emailed the webstaff a picture, so it should be up there shortly. This has been an awesome rig, check it out!

    Bill,

Your statement regarding qualification for the WWA Team Challenge National Championship Tournament is inaccurate. You state that the entry qualification was to fish one tournament in WI or MN and catch one fish.

Under the rules of the WWA Team Challenge a team must finish the divisional qualifying tournaments as one of the top 30 teams in their division, by points, to be automatically invited to the Team Challenge National Championship. In the Minnesota division the 30th place team had 1578 points. You cannot accumulate that amount of points by fishing one tournament and catching one fish. However, the Wisconsin/Illinois division is the WWA’s smallest division. If a team was to declare the WI/IL division as their home division and fish one tournament and catch one fish you were pretty much guaranteed an invitation to Nationals. This is due to the low volume of teams.

I just wanted to clear the air on this issue as rumors are circulating in the Minnesota division regarding the one tournament/one fish qualification.

Lastly, the St. Croix has been off-limits to all qualifiers since September 8, 2001. The off-limits period is from September 8, 2001 until sunrise September 22, 2001. This off-limit period is in force to equal the playing field for out-of-state teams. Any qualifying team members that are on or fishing the St. Croix during this time will be disqualified from the National Championship.
