I just picked up a pair at the Woodbury Gander Mt. They have a ton of stuff on sale there too. They appear to be remodeling.

July 23, 2012 at 12:17 pm #1086558Great read Chris! Im really looking forward to delivering a bunch of those “brain barbing” hooksets with you in a few weeks
July 8, 2012 at 8:39 pm #1081975They did re-sign Matt Kassian to a 2yr deal. Last year he played 24 games and had 55 PIM. Yep..must have been him you heard about.
July 4, 2012 at 6:00 pm #1081035That is great news!!! I cant believe that I saw it here first, ESPN 2nd and the NHL network is still airing reruns and hasnt said a word about it!? Good reporting guys
Its a great day to be a Wild fanJuly 3, 2012 at 7:04 pm #1080811I think it’d be great for Parise to join the Wild…and Suter too but Im not going to hold my breath. The thing that has stuck with me is that at 11:05 Sunday morning the Wild announced that they had made offers to both players. To me that kinda says their offers arent going to be competitive so they atleast wanted to toss the fans a bone… Hope im wrong. Go Wild!
March 13, 2012 at 1:58 pm #119352Thats very cool! I have found 100s of sheds but never found a hanger!
March 11, 2012 at 9:02 pm #119291Looks like you’re having a good shed season so far. Nice recent finds!
March 8, 2012 at 12:06 am #119234I believe they have Red Deer there, looks like an elk. They would be very cool to find
February 23, 2012 at 7:02 pm #118912Hey Shednut, Thats a nice way to break the goose egg. I’ve had a slow start too, I logged almost 25 miles between shed #2 and #3 They should start dropping in large numbers soon.
February 4, 2012 at 11:52 am #118328There are a couple of sights i found that have created a function in google maps to do this…search daftlogic or Google planimeter. Both are easy to use and seem pretty accurate, I checked my land and a foodplot where I already know the acreage and they were both right on. I think you need Google Earth Pro to measure an area there…
January 31, 2012 at 12:52 pm #1033742For your size garage a 60000 BTU would be about right. Also, having a vented model helps get moisture out of the garage. I compared alot of brands and came up with the Modine Hot Dawg heater as the most reliable/best reviews.
The Mr Heater BigMaxx has had problems with the circuit board getting fried do to location.January 27, 2012 at 4:04 pm #118109Quote:
Good find…I’m going to start looking…
I looked for the other side without any luck, all other bucks seem to be holding on in my area
January 27, 2012 at 1:34 pm #118098Thanks guys, its always fun to get that first shed of the year out of the way

Seeing as most seasons are over. . . Congrats Team 19
Dont count us out yet, Im still hunting and have til Jan 31st. I figure if I shoot my 2nd doe and then score on a 28pt buck then Team 12 would take the lead
January 11, 2012 at 10:52 pm #117635I just bought a new pair of hiking boots today, cant wait to get out and burn down the deer trails. Unfortunately there are zero bucks that have dropped around here yet.
January 3, 2012 at 3:23 pm #117421Hey Seth, I sent you a PM also but here’s some info about Tombstone Creek Outfitting, they are an archery outfitter from northern Missouri. They have alot of big bucks in that area and very little bow hunting pressure. Here is a link to their site and a few harvest pics from this year.

I think they charge from $800-1800 depending on dates

Holiday hunt? Where/when?
CWD killem all zone holiday hunt.
2x. Its not state wide, just CWD zone. The DNR has created some confusion in this though and I have a feeling there will be more than one attempt to register a gun killed deer outside the CWD zone.
DNR cust. service rep said she is getting tons of calls about this…October 18, 2011 at 5:35 pm #112570Quote:
I assume that was real; if so – dang lucky his head wasn’t turned into cottage cheese
After looking at it again, and again I think it’s a fake. Besides being almost too stupid to be real, he didnt drop the gun after it went off…managed to lay it down nicely. Angle of the gun to hat doesn’t look right either…
Good shock value for education thoughOctober 18, 2011 at 4:16 pm #112565What the…? It’s hard to believe that somebody would look down the barrel of their gun much less right after a misfire??? WOW. He is extremely lucky he didnt remove himself from the gene pool. Grade = F-
October 16, 2011 at 11:32 pm #1001786WAY too many leaves to bag here I gave up on bagging and took the easy route. I just blow them into wind rows and push the whole pile across the yard. I decided to let them all go this year and do a 1-time cleanup in a few weeks.

WOW!!!! That is a slob! Kinda makes me second guess what could be roaming around when I’m on my way to the tree at 5:00am! \
Congrats to the hunter!
No Kidding That was shot 1 mile from my house. I usually get 1-2 pics of stray bears every year but never anything like that!!October 1, 2011 at 11:43 am #111449Cant beat that Jason Looks like its in decent shape too! Shed season is way too short! I’d say add that to your total for last year. I found this little stump of an antler walking back from stand in Missouri last week. #43
September 30, 2011 at 9:18 am #111360Good points from the two guys above. I was told a long time ago “You’ll only get one chance to buy your neighbors land” If you like that spot, don’t pass it up.
