    Fished Pool 4 last weekend, water was pretty muddy and getting muddier by the day. few mallies, slow presentation jigs and tandem spinner baits. Hope this helps.

    I would recommend a 74# 24 v Maxxum. I have never heard anyone complain about having to much thrust.

    I hate to question performance, but 78 with a 225??? I doubt that was a GPS speed. I would have to see that to beleive it.

    I agree with SteveO. I live in Hudson, WI and the St Croix between Prescott and Hudson is just an all around excellent fishery. You can really get on a bunch of them and good size too!
