Coldest was probably 15-20, plus wind.

Check out the Kast brand. Specifically the steelhead glove. Truly 100 percent waterproof, warmer, and thinner then the Frabill gloves. I have both and these are far superior then ANY light glove I’ve found. I ran them in the boat in November and could actually pitch plastics with them on.

I had some guys off craigslist move me. Blaine to Elk River. Paid $250 and I didn’t lift a finger. This was just me and my wife though. I bet they could move you for under $400 including truck and all. If you want their number PM me.

Vexliar runs all on the same channel so to speak so u fish right next to a buddy you won’t read or mark fish only marcum you can do that marcums the only way to go from target separation zoom the LCS screen to get baitfish mode flasher and anywhere in between

You have absolutely zero idea what your talking about.

To the OP, go buy what makes you happy. I run an FLX28 and am very happy with the product. I’ve run Marcums in the past and they catch fish too.

That doesn’t look like a fix to me. That’s like spraying bedliner over rusted rockers on a truck.

Wade there are quite a few lakes in the GR area with real quality panfish.

Thorne Bros makes the deadstick, which is the only rod I’m aware of that is heavy enough for deadsticking walleyes.

We all know the tri-beam had issues it’s first year. Vexilar stood behind them, as they should. I had to pay for all my Marcum trasducers. “I’m sorry sir, it’s out of warranty”. I pay for ALL my gear and need a product that’s not going to fail on me.

No BS about burning through transducers.

It didn’t clear some up, it completely eliminated it. Like I said, I was giving Will a friendly jab. No need to come at me all defensive, when I state an honest review of a feature on one of your sponsors competitors products.

I fished mine next to an LX7 as well. The Marcums are “jumpy”. I’ve owned 3 of them and all were like this. Oh ya, I burned through 3 trasducers on my Marcum units as well. 2 on my LX5 and one on my LX3. I didn’t come on here to bash Marcums, I was just giving Will a friendly jab.

They obviously don’t clear out the plankton now do they James?

Now Will, if you were running a Vexilar FLX28 you could set your color pallet to number 2, which eliminates the color green. Green is the weakest signal which is what plankton shows up as. I tried this feature the other night for the first time, it great!

You really can’t go wrong with a Thorne Bros Walleye Sweetheart. The blanks are made in the states too.

Mine started fine. Even while letting it warm up while putting on gear and getting other stuff ready, it still took a good 5 minutes of drilling to run optimal.

I bought a 2009 Alumacraft Navigator 2 weeks ago, with a 75hp Yamaha tiller. It’s 91″ wide. NO way would I want anything less for hp! What are you going to gain from it? .5mpg? My 75 trolls down to 1.5-1.7 in forward and under 1mph in reverse.

If your worried about your jig spinning just use a small swivel. I ran quality fly reels for 2 seasons and there fine for shallow water, anything deeper then 10 or 15 ft and they take too long to drop your jig down. I fish bluegills a ton and there is no way I can tell you my catch rate went up while using a fly reel. Save your money Wade.

Access all the way. I’m on my 3rd Access on 3 trucks and all have been great. Buddy has a Truxedo and it’s junk.

For heavy I recommend Cabelas Pinnacle gore-tex. Spendy but worth it. I’ve lost two pairs now but will be buying another set before winter.
