I would be more concerned if the marinas are froze up. The fishing is still good last I heard.

The Elkhorn has plenty of kitties, Prairie View which is darn near in your backyard has plenty of fish to keep your kids busy. It is located just west of Bennington Lake(the one with all of the enormous houses on it on hwy 36). Lake cunningham is located at about 90th and hwy 36, was recently renevated and has lots of fish, probably on the smaller side. The walleyes are just nearing the 16-18″ range.

That should be enough to get you started close to home.
I don’t live far from you, so if you need a hand controlling your deer population, just get in touch with me. Way too many in that area.

35-14 skers win pulling away. Our D is too tough for the Cubs this year. As usual, loser buys lunch

I would have probably fell out of the tree from shaking so bad. At least it would have been a clean miss.

It was pretty slow, we managed 2 19-20″ sauger and several small cats. Witnessed about an 8 lb northern caught. I managed to roll one spoon bill off the bottom, but fortunately he got off right away.

Heard the same old story of how good the bite was on Monday and last Tuesday. Several nice fish caught those days.

No pictures and not much worth reporting but still better than working

Just wondering if anyone else here is a waterfowler? I’ve been in blinds since I was in diapers, and somedays yet today I shoot just as many geese or ducks as I did then

    Yep

When I looked at the remainder of the schedule yesterday, A&M and ok. St were the only games I thought we have a chance to win. But I doubt we can beat both of them. Is 6 – 6 mediocre? What about 5 – 7?

Hmmmm…… Reminds me of a tournament on Milford a few years ago. Still mad about that one. There is a trick to getting them go, Ben should remember me telling him.

They have found and identified the body of Brian Nielson of Yankton. I have fished with Brian a few times up at Lewis and Clark. Some of you may know of him from The Next Bite website, he was a regular there. Very sad news to say the least. story

Yes the one in SD. I heard Bismark instead of Sharpe though. Rather go to sharpe myself.

P & K had a decent finish using the same tactics as Ortiz.

That’s kinda interesting. I’ve heard those are the spookiest of fish. I could see the sideplaner being an advantage possibly.

Surprisingly enough, that is not the case down there. That tournament was won by Bill Ortiz, trolling 10fow or less, with his baits behind the boat, no boards, and yes even using his kicker.
