February 11, 2025 at 6:19 pm #2316917Don`t know how I got there but ended up on a student dental forum. Being just out of school they were all talking that they basically got paid piece rate working for company dental stores, the more you do the more you got paid
February 1, 2025 at 10:44 am #2314424In my OPINION trying to kill all the deer in infected areas is a mistake, nature has a way of coming up with it`s own resistance to such things. How many deer are being killed that has built in resistance to CWD and passing that on to their offspring….Genetics.
February 1, 2025 at 10:25 am #2314421Me I would keep anything bigger then 1/2 inch bolts and nuts they get expensive and throw the rest.
January 25, 2025 at 10:50 am #2312853The real reason is EPA having to run these engines so lean to pass their specs is the biggest reason we see these issues. IE My Yamaha T8 carbed would not run worth a sh_ _ and always cold blooded. Yamaha wanted $238 for a new one started searching found a company in China that handled these carbs and not EPA certified. $68 later and 4 weeks had a Yamaha T8 that started and ran like it never had even new. It also had High speed and low speed needle adjustments.
December 2, 2024 at 9:05 am #2302473Keep the prop you have if it is working well and have them put a couple of vent holes in it. I had them drill 3 3/8 inch vent holes amazing the difference, when I put the hammer down my RPM`s jump to about 3,600-4,000 rpm the power band of my motor and she jumps out of the water, the bow barely comes up.
November 26, 2024 at 9:49 am #2301486Part of the problem is repair costs friend hit a deer with his 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee body shop estimate was $5,900 they are wanting to total it. We looked at it and for the replacement parts bumper, grill, and fender were $789 I told him let them total it buy it back for $400 and we will bolt on and repaint, the car is driveable the way it sits.

s Gen 3
s and my current Mega Live is excellent. I am waiting to pick up a used Helix 15 Gen 4 cheap for my Mega Live and my 360. My guess is since Humminbird has not come out with anything new for a few years there will be bunch of guys updating their units.November 22, 2024 at 7:34 pm #2300944I will be at my usual place looking out the sliding glass doors in the dining room. If I get real adventurous I will sit out on the front porch.

October 6, 2024 at 9:04 am #2292526Made most of my own ( wife’s help ) nylon from Walmart about $1.50 each with elastic. Some I wanted the reels covered baitcasters easier then having separate reel covers.
October 6, 2024 at 8:58 am #2292524As much as I admire Sheldon and his work the only thing my 2000 Optimax has seen is 10% with over 1,800 hours with only one hiccup low pressure fuel pump in the VST. I do use Seafoam in the tank. Everything on the farm I use 10% and have not had fuel related issues and some tractors will sit for 6-7 months. Just my two cents.

August 16, 2024 at 12:14 pm #2285859Icon and Pittsburgh are life time warranty’s, the Icons are not far off of my Snapon tools. Craftsman has turned to crap their wrenches are more like clubs thickening them up to make up for cheap steel.

Bad thing is how Walz is pushing for no reciprocation among states so there would be no way you could carry out of your own state or enter another state carrying. There are several states that honor the Mn permit. You can also get a multi state permit if needed.
-J.
I understand that but Walz does not want it that way and trying to change it.
August 13, 2024 at 8:33 am #2285190He said he lost his motor either jackplate not bolted down properly, jackple sheared motor mounts sheared. If could of seen the transom would have a much better idea of what happened.

August 9, 2024 at 10:00 am #2284759I have caught a lot pitching wing dams with crank baits and trolling the same.
August 6, 2024 at 8:57 am #2284163What I see now, even on Lake Pepin is this: historic and excellent 3-way and trolling locations, where EVERYONE HISTORICALLY, has been on the same page and traveled in same methodology , etc. are now blocked by a few of these individuals, that pull into the pack, spot lock, and use their new toy. The words are a flying out there for sure! VERY disrespectful.
This has been going on since the beginning of time people that only vertical jig and don`t troll nothing new and very common.
July 24, 2024 at 9:44 am #2282392First thing I would do is check your battery, unhook everything from it charge it check voltage, let sit a day or two and recheck voltage if below 12.5 the battery is on the way out. Many times having a load test done does not show a battery as being bad. I went thru 3 Deka
s in 18 months to find a good one drove me nuts figuring it was something in the boat drawing down the battery it wasn
t, just new batteries that were bad..July 24, 2024 at 9:35 am #2282386Fire Line Crystal still on two rods since Dean was at Everett’s still going strong, in my Opinion best braid made once it gets broken in.

I’m paid well over union top scale. There is nothing stopping your employer from paying you more.
[/quote]Depends on Union my daughter runs the HR department for a 9,000 employee business and their house cleaning staff is a union. They are constantly understaffed and she cannot offer a higher wage to attract new hires as the union prohibits it. Dumb I know but that is the way it is.
July 14, 2024 at 10:40 am #2280969There are so many variables in your question size of boat, type of hull, weight, wind, current, speed. Take number of amps your trolling motor can draw times the hours you want to operate and the number of amps will get you in the ball park for size of battery.
July 14, 2024 at 10:27 am #2280967My only question in a Union shop why should I work my tail off as I cannot get a raise from my own efforts? There is no incentive to bust butt to get ahead of the rest in the shop.
July 13, 2024 at 9:42 am #2280827I am impressed with my Kistler Helium 3 rods when you can get them on sale are they as good as my StCoix Legend Elites almost but for half the price on sale it is a winner.
