The ball does pump hard, but the ball will not stay hard, so then I have to keep pressure on the ball.

Scouting report is in for a total of three day’s of goose hunting. The total was 92 geese and with the warmer temps coming it should only get better. Geese were South for two day’s and then Sunday everything was West of town.

Best thing that could happen !!! If you want to eat walleye buy it at the supermarket. My only thoughts is that will any of the resorts or local busines’s feel the affects?

Gary you are 100% correct proven fact last night on pool 3 I was slamming walleye’s and saugers with a jig/crawler/leech, so I decided to switch it up and fish with the same jig head, but with a ringworm, not one bite, switched back to live bait and it was a night and day difference. Live bait is always a go to bait at this time of year. It worked very well for me last night and it will be very hard for this guy to pull out plastics after last night, until the water cools down.

Northwest and East side of Mille Lacs, bobbering fishing was excellent, and so was trolling cranks, lot’s of slot fish 16″-19″, with occasional 24″ to 26″. Shallow 6 Feet or less. Great fishing and good times with the boy’s.

My dad has a cabin on the lake and did very well in a short time jigs and shiners. A lot of fish outside of the slot, as a matter of fact there were no slot fish caught.

4 – 6 feet of water dragging or vertical jigging northland fireball jig .25. Good luck

Yea that is the same box that I have, it is awesome, no more hook messes to deal with, and I also can store up to 122 cranks.

Kooty I just got mine from my buddy who just got back from Lake Erie. He picked me up one as I have been trying to locate the right tackle box to help organize. If you are around Hunter’s this weekend, I will have the tackle box in my boat, I will share. Look for a guy driving a 2025 black and red 200 Mercury. Stop and say hi. You will be impressed.

Is the water pretty low this year?

Fireline/Crystal is great for about two weeks then starts to fray and it is over. My advice is to stick with Power Pro, or Spider wire stealth. Trust me I have gone through this same question every year.

Good to hear the garbage has cleared up I have fished down there 4 – 5 different times in the past couple of weeks live bait and plastics, and nothing to show for. Sooner or later things have to start shaping up. If the rain would ever let up I was going out this afternoon.

On my old Ranger I had mounted the speakers under the passenger and driver counsels. It work great and the sound was very good. The radio was mounted in the storage compartment.

Water temp 55 or colder has been a major key along with the moon phase for trolling in the fall. At least that is what I have learned over years of trolling the big POND. Lip we will cross paths soon enough on the big Pond. Did you happen to purchase that new 620?

I own two cuddeback cameras, the 2.0 and 3.0, both cameras are decent, but the battery life doesn’t last as long as the advertisement of 6 months. Cuddeback states that I should get 6 months worth of battery life, not the case maybe about a month or two. Go digital with the memory cards as it is very easy to check the cameras replace the memory card and view at home. The 2.0 has been more reliable than the 3.0 for me.

Spent most of the morning at Prescott Bridge, jig and minnow early, and turned over to trolling lead core #5 shad raps 5-10 feet of water, any rip rap that was found was the ticket.

Fleet Farm has a bunch of cheap rods $25 to $35 I would recommend a short 5.5 to 6 and possibly an 8 to 10 footer, that way you can run two lines with out having any tangles. You really do not need much!

Is the Edge able to work with any other sonars? For example I am running a X-18, but was wondering if they both could work togethor. I guess if I run into any interference I would just use the X-18 as my GPS.

I am pretty open, I am looking for the best unit that is going to save me a lot of time guessing if what I am marking is fish or junk on the bottom.

My suggestion would be to go with a Vexilar FL 18 or Fl 8 as it is very simple unit to use and truly does mark fish. Usually you can buy the unit for around 350 to 400 or possible a used one will do.
