Which downriggers, that depends what your looking for, and how much you want to spend.
I myself had Cannon mag 10’s, had them for many years, did most of my downrigging on Lake Of The Woods. The last couple years I’ve been salmon fishing in Lake Michigan so I went to the Cannon Mag 15’s just for the faster retrieve.

Eric, see your looking for a set of higher end binoculars.
Don’t know if your looking new or used. But I have a set
of Swarovski SLC 8 X 30 for sale. These do not have the
Swarobright coating. Bought these back in 1997 and haven’t used them the last 3 years. I have the new EL’s is why I’m
    selling the 8 X 30’s. Asking $575.00 for them.
If interested or would like to see them send me a PM.

Yes, talked to Navionics on that, have it set on the region they recommended, and it just showes the contours of the lake. Does not show detail of towns, marina’s, etc.,for pool

    Ecnook,you will love a 620. Had a 1999, 2002, and now just ordered a 621 last week. Had a T-8 on the 620’s, and
putting a T-8 on the 621. Best kicker out there. Do alot of fishing on the big ponds, and it handles the 620 perfect. Did alot of research on the T-8 for my 621, and going with the T-8 there also. Going with the kicker on the port side
this time, and yes these are remote kickers.
Had my Lowrance electronics on Ram mounts on the 620, two side by side on the dash, worked great.
Putting two Lowrance units on my 621, but they have the 10″
screens, so I need to fiqure out how to mount them to my liking on the dash.
One other thing Ecnook, do some shopping around, priced out
four dealers, prices ranged from 62K to 55K for a 621 same options. Two were priced out with Verado’s, the other’s with 225HO E-Tec’s. One dealer in Iowa, 3 in Minnesota. Two in the cities, one in Rochester. Hard to beat the dealer in Rochester, going on boat #2 there.
Just my 2 cents, Ranger’s are hard to beat, my 621 is my 6th one.

Airpart, when you were pulling cranks last weekend, were you longlining or using leadcore? How much line were you putting out with the Grappler Shads? Was pulling cranks myself, but alot of garbage floating on top.

Guys, been reading your reports on trolling and would like to give it a try. I do a lot of jig fishing, and throwing plastics, and would like to put trolling in the arsenal. What would be a good reel, pole, line combination to get started with.

    Thanks for any info,

Being from Iowa I was going to response to Bigwiener. But I’m like you Dave G, after reading his profile I’m not going to waste my time. This is a great website, lets keep it that way.

James, who handles these hair jigs in Rochester? Looked on
B-Fish-N Tackle web site and didn’t see any hair jigs listed there. What is the make of these hair jigs?

Brooktrout, are you going to be selling your 1650 Explorer?
I’am in the market for something like that.
