We’ve stayed at the Bay Inn many years and it was great for fishing trips. Nothing fancy but safe, secure, restaurant onsite, good parking for truck/boat, electric plugs, free ice, and great prices. Ask for a double room for extra space. Here is a link: http://www.baymotelgreenbay.com/

If the clarity allows use an underwater camera to find it and a something to snag it once its located. This has worked every time to get one back for me.

Maybe he should come out as being [censored] like the NBA player then he would be treated as a hero and martyr by the media. Pro sports are a sad reflection of our current state of society.

Thought someone posted last time a link to a Goodyear technical bulletin or something that said that 50psi was fine at normal highway speed but at higher speeds ie 70mph you needed to over inflate to 60psi.

Here is the bulletin from Goodyear http://www.tirerack.com/images/tires/goodyear/Marathon_Special_Trailer_Applications.pdf

    HRG

Bingo! I’ve been running mine at 60-65 psi since reading the bulletin with no problems.

    ZNAK,
    I run a 620 with the F250 4-stroke. Mines a 2008 and the off shore wasn’t avaible when I purchased mine.
I am beyound pleased with my set up. I’ve always had nothing but pure satisfaction with all my Yamaha 4-Strokes, but this is the 1st of this magnatude.
Boat plains Immediately, and fuel economy is very good. I have 2 good freinds that have fished the pro circuits for years with one having the etec, and 1 with a Merc Verado.
Both have told me they can’t beleive the preformace of the 620 with this set up, and are envious of the fuel economy!
Although I can’t quite get the top speed that the etec set up can, I still run easily in the very high 50’s with occasionally, in perfect conditions hitting 60 (rare though).
I do beleive the off shore will only be a better preformer than what I have. Less weight, more torque, ect, ect.
I can’t speak for others, but sure sounds like anyone that’s went with the Off Shore have been extremely happy with them. A bunch of the Skeeter guys run them. My next boat is a new 620 with 250 off Shore, soon I hope.
    Happy shopping

Interesting, the 5-6 620’s I’ve been in with 4 stroke Yammies were dogs out of the hole since they are sooo heavy but did have good top speed. Yours seems to be an exception, are you running a jack plate or hydrofoil?

I would suspect the Yammie 250 Offshore will run a 620 very similar to a 620 with a Merc 250 Pro XS which is an awesome setup. Quick out of the hole, light and fast setup.

Did you refresh the page or use the back button when it told you not to? I did that once and it took my bucks and gave me no classified credit.

No the Paypal screen popped up and I didn’t have the time at the moment to complete the post so I closed it out using the link at the bottom saying “return to In Depth Outdoors”.

I actually liked the suggestion that MN lawmakers should also be tested for drugs and/or alcohol before getting pay and benefits. That could prove to be quit interesting.

How do you like to setup your spread? Deep lures out the furthest? I can never remember the “proper” way.

Shallowest running should be the farthest board to the outside so it can be dropped back past the deep boards and brought up the “alley” behind the boat. What’s really interesting is getting 5-6 boards going off with two guys its a true fire drill.

Have you replaced the rear hub seal?

Seal probably won’t solve the leak issue since the wear sleeve on the spindle most likely will have a groove and will need replacing first, been there before. I went to the Vortex hubs last year and it should be a much better system than oil bath.

3-1 Badgers with this last power play goal. Huskies are out playing them but not getting any breaks to go their way.

Make sure you have all your Coast Guard Equipment on board as they check on a regular basis.

Great advice and you wouldn’t want to be without these items in case of an emergency. As mentioned if you keep aware of your surroundings and weather conditions you will be fine with your boat.

Scary stuff and its only going to get worse before it gets better. I am sooo glad we didn’t purchase a cabin up there a few years ago. I feel terrible for lake shore owners and businesses that have to deal with these issues and have a lot more to lose.

Over the last 20 years I have been putting on about 35K miles per year on a full size pickup. I have tried a lot of tires, to me the hands down best is Michelin. I have Michelin LTX M/S2’s on right now and they are great. They aren’t super aggressive, but for ride, noise, fuel mileage, and wear they are fantastic. They are expensive, but after doing the math they are the best value for me.

I really didn’t like driving my wife’s car, it was loud and had a choppy ride. Put a set of Michelin tires on it this fall and it’s like a completely different car.

I know opinions are like you know what, but I really think you get what you pay for with tires.

    same story here

Me too! Great tires! Not cheap but worth every penny.

Is it the type of fuel pump on top of the tank where the whole tank needs to be dropped to replace? If so I’ve seen friends get quotes in the $800 range but when they shop around can get it done for $400-$500 including labor.

I like the Cabelas Signature Black Visa. It is a good card paying 5% back on Cabelas purchases and 1% on all other purchases. I pay the full balance every month so I don’t know the interest rate but its competitive. No annual fee, good customer service, and club specials.

Yes, Signature Black is nice for 5% on Cabelas purchases. Can’t seem to make myself use the points when I get 5% for not. There are other special %’s for certain stores…not sure if that is Signature Black cards only or if it is all Cabelas cards.

Yep, just this morning booked my vacation to Colorado next month on this card and got 2%-4% back on air fare, hotel and rental car. It really adds up over a year, usually $750-$1,200 in free gear at Cabelas.
