Yeah my guess is the same. I heard a rumor about a DT-20 and from what I hear the pros suggested a DT-22 instead. It as prolly just being tested this past year and hopefully hits the market soon.

So where can I get Rapala DT-22s? I know of the DD-22 from Normam, but these pros talk about the Rapala. The bait is not listed on the Rapala website but they must be around some where.

My 5’10” legend tournament skipping rod its a tiny version of the 6’3” and seems to give me a little more control , it almost puts the jig right in my hand

My loomis sr852 7’1” spinning rod great lindy rig rod and casts small cranks like a dream great lenght for corkin as well

I dont think i could handle having only two rods

Yeah both houses are great, i prefer the X2 however for its material. It is a heavy duty 900 denier polyster, and is a stop rip material. where the otter has canvas which is a little heavier in wieght and does not seem as durable. your best bet is to head out to your local fishing shop and check them both out side by side, im sure you will be happy with what ever house you go with.

I think you all miss understand me a little bit, there fish houses are great, but you shouldnt have to hire a private investegator to get your money from them when you pay them to sell your fish houses. Im not a guy that just goes around “bashing small companies” as someone said i was just exspressing my opionion just like all of you and sending out a warning for people to be carefull when buying a fish house from them. To me customer serivce is the most important thing when buying a product from someone, and when that person trys to screw you over and rob you of course your gonna be mad. now if any one wants more info this tobic or wants to talk about it pm me ill be happy to respond.

Them shacks are easy to build it should take no longer then about a hour. You just have to heat up the runners with a torch so they are like a noodle.

I see why you fish on a bucket Cal, your not smarter then the fish house.

the ice is still in good condition around here on many lakes i fish around here almost every single day during the week when im not on mille lacs. buffalo still had 6-8″ of good ice on it and you wont need to venture out far, the ice is good you just have to be smart about it.

i used to sell these last year at cabelas, and yes the hot pipe was a issue however a guy could rig up a couple brackets to set back the house a few inches off the wheeler. as far as the fabric goes dont exspect to be fishing out a fish trap. this house is made by the Viking company. they are the ones who sell the housees at Menards and wall-mart, the fabric is not real high quility it is just more of a tarp.

where on the lake is your cabin? mine was in the back bay on the south east side. i had the middle cabin of the three that are back there. its the bay just south of the sand bar. it was a big brown cabin on top of a hill. its not easy to see however cause no one ever went back there. we used to have a big blue pontoon, a green lund, and a red and white monark deep V. i spent a lot of time fishing off that dock and when the family went swimming at the sand bar i was the one wading wiht a rod. i caught a lot of fish around that sand bar. i even have a 20 pound northern on my wall that was caught htere in 1989. my dad caught it when i was two.
    your a lucky man

well cletus schlankki was just being a smart [censored], he is still stuck in his old ways, still loyal to his vex but i think by the end of this winter i will have him using the new technology, after I outfish him a few times he will learn. I cant wait for the ice show and the ice bring it on

i would recomend a fish trap voyager or yukon, they are lighter wieght and the fabric is all stop rip material. the voyager comes stock this year with a third seat that works great for two adults and a kid. I havent found any thing better so far.

im thinking of mounting a hard sided case of some kind in the back corner of the sled for long hauls and then mounting 5 in tubes on the back of the drink tray, so i can just stand rods up in there for short distances
