I heard a friend of mine talking about a truck driver in Rochester that found a bag of goose decoys along side the road. I’ll try to find out more info for you.

In Manitoba, generally you won’t find birds with color until near the close of season. There limits are eight ducks per license. The only restrictions are 4 cans and 4 Red Heads. there were days where we shot 30 Pintails and you could see that some were drakes. The mallards had a little more color. All I can tell you is we followed the law and stayed within our limits.

I think this is a production that is going to be well worth the wait.

Thanks to all those involved in the making of this video.

Yep, and I too work in Austin. So, i figured you would have left with Brandy. She’s looks like she would be worth following.

I just mounted some Ram mounts and Rod holders on my Ranger. I used 1 inch screws and a little loc-tite. I first drilled some holes before running in the screws. By the way I used #10 screws. They all hold very solid.

Yes, Their are a series of them way at the end of pool 8 on the MN side of the river. Also the entrance to Lawrance lake has a nice rip rap area that will hold some smallies.

Good god! What a sow. Did she swim away or go on the wall?

    Nice catch.

For some good small mouth action try the rock piles at the end of the pool before the next lock and damn. work the front edges with plastic or a jerk bait.

James and Dustin are the real experts with the ring worms.

Here is what I’ve found works for me.
I have had sucsess fishing them vertical in any depth. Make contact with the bottom then bring in about two inces off. Give it a good snap about every 10 or so seconds then hold it still two inches off the bottom.

Also, I have done well dragging them and casting them slowly pumping the rod in as the ringie drifts through a current break.

I’m sure James or Dustin will have a better response.

My father bought his first boat from Starks and got exactly what he wanted for exactly what they quoted. I would say they are a good dealer.

We were fishing by Bay Point last Saturday and they were still driving cars and trucks on it.

I agree with Mercman’s post Everts is the place for me even if the others are free of ice. Steve does a good job keeping the ramps clear and always provides a little info if you need it. I would rather pay for the service I get at Everts.

I have both on my boat and would reccomend both. If you can afford it go with the x-15, this unit has great image resolution and detail.

Spit, don’t you have some packages to load for UPS? Every site I go to there you are. I’ll be going to Red Wing a lot from now until May, if you ever want to go let me know.

For me it is a glass boat. I have had both and the glass seems to be a better ride. Also, you can’t beat the look of glass. I just bought a 2002 Ranger 620 with a Mercury 225 Optimax. Love the look of both as well as the performance. Prior to that I’ve had Alumacraft & Lund. For me it’s glass from here on out.
