The Frabill bedding is estensially shredded paper and they also carry crawler food that is a finely ground corn meal. I can keep more than a flat all summer and rarely have many die.

Did you give the Frabill line a look? With the new stretcher poles and wrap around materials and of course the glide trax system it’s a good surdy long lasting unit.
Also very comfortable.
