Thanks,So what boat launch do you usually use when you go fish wingdams, 494? Also When do people usually start pulling cranks?

I just got back from pool 2, I was fishing from shore around minnehaha, I caught 2 walleye, one nice crappie and a dogfish, the water is still pretty high

I go camping every spring at kathio, we catch more fish in the river than in mille lacs, from the dam in the park you can catch walleyes, bass, northerns, muskies, sunnies, and even some carp and dogfish. There is a boat launch right in the state park fir the river, the river averages about 5-10 feet, but there are some spots that get real shalo if you head south on the river. I hope this helps.

I tried a swedish pimple with a minnow head, a couple walleyes went up to it and nudged it a little and swam off.

I went to prior yesterday with the same results, I ended up fishing in the middle of the city, we caught some nice sunnies and saw about a dozen walleye on the aqua view but couldn’t get them to bite, I also saw a huge walleye on the aqua view right as the sun was going down.

All I can catch on the croix near kinni is some sheephead. With the bonus walleye and bass.
