yeah i thought about that, and with mine wire can be broken with my hand, and is pretty much like a woven wire fence. so its not ment to hang up the antler, just to knock it here and there. and dont get me wrong, my favorite exersize is to walk every inch of my propertied to find some bone, but i figured id try something new

theres some corn and some deer cane out at another camera…. just a little something i thought id try this year. crops are not an option….yet. in the ext couple of years i am trying to start planting ssome corn/soybean/clover plots around the property. i just dont have the equiptment needed right now. any suggestions on that? i have a decent (130 acres) plot of land, a tractor, but nothing past that.

i fell out of an old stand when i was little, i was 10 and i was being… a normal ten year old, and i was curious about what it looked like from a tree stand. turns out this tree stand was an old man build stand of 2x6s and some plank boards that hadnt been used since i was born. my dumb self made it to the top then fell through. luckly it was only about 14 foot high and all i did was break my leg. but i just got over the fear of hieights a couple of years ago. i now use a saftey harness when im hunting out of lock ons and man made stands, i usually never use one out of ladderstands because i feel safer, but even then you never know what will happen.

Well i shot my first buck on opening day. then the next year i played the passing game and ate my buck tag, so this year i put one down on the first day.

i got him at the local shop. all the guys down there went to school with my dad and i gut, skin, and butcher with them all the time. they are teaching me how to mount and tan so they do my bucks in the slow times. so I’m shoulder mounting him myself. but with alot (alot alot) of help of course.

gut, i would say go for the scoutguard SG550. it gives me no problems, takes good video and has alot of settings to choose from. it has great battery life.

it has amazing features… just little things that set it apart from my other cameras… it has an acctual battery meter that is just like a cell phone. runs on AA batteries. has great trigger speed. its easy to set up and once you set it up, you dont have to do it over and over when you change batteries.

i havent tested it to that many different cameras, but i dont exactly want to now that i know that this camera will perform time after time. these other guys might know more about them but the Scoutguard SG550 work for me!

they might be hard to find if you want one, but gobblin tom over on camospace has them and since you are a member he will give you 2 2gb sd cards instead of just one.

Wow – the flies are bad…

Did you have some left over peanut butter on your camera from your peanut butter/jelly sandwich? I think you should name that buck “sniffy”?

I think he was smellin my bbq sandwich.
