HD, I am headed out to the same area tomorrow night. My brother is going to school in grand forks and already has a few field picked out for us so we are pumped. We are rolling in a green 4 door f-150, stop by and say hi if you see us. Good luck!
Thanks for the help guys. Yeah I wont be grouse hunting this weekend, I will be heading to the cabin for some deer hunting. Yeah we have found some really good spots north of Island lake four grouse hunting. I will have to check out the place your talking about thanks guys!
My dog sheds a ton also, She is a yellow lab and just over a year old. She is not going bald or anything like that. We had two other chocolate labs and they didnt seem to shed much at all just in the spring and fall when they loose or gain winter fur. Maybe it is just something with yellow labs.

Hey an easy and less pain full way for the dog is to take the quils out is to cut the ends of the quil off, it shrinks the barb of the other end and they pull out really nicely. we did it on our dog and it worked awsome.

I have heard of people using crows b4 dont kno if they work. I also heard of people using sandhill crane decoys while goose hunting in fields, and heard they worked but who knows.
