Thursday we got fish here and today 3 of my buds went to the same spot and got same results

Come outa cove bay head East from red/green markers.Get to the point and head straight NORTH from the marker off the point.You will come to a slow drop off to a sudden 22′ then go east.There will be a lil saddle and come up to 14′ .Fish the saddle in 17′

water temp was 51 early morning main lake.Late afternoon i was in wahkon bay i think it was 54 air temp hmmmm a lot colder then 51

eyedoc wont be able to make the outing anyone else???????????????

9′ – 15’FOW look for the blue on map also been great for Jumbo perch this past week.Report from today and yesterday 2 hours 4 guys limited out jumbo perch 11 crappies and 1 slot eye small minnows with red jigs

Last week was way better and i missed out.Headed to this area on thursday for a few days.Look for a 19′ wheel house with a bunch of deer photos on the siding.Stop on in and see what were not catching

Wildlife officer was investigating the dead animal when the photo was taken according to my e-mail attached to the photo.This e-mail was sent/forwarded to about 25 game wardens prior to me getting it

Very wet conditions did make it hard to hunt the 1st few days.Once we figured out the geese we pounded are limits daily.90% of the fields have standing water from ankle deap up to the knee.

We stayed about 300 yards down wind of the roosting geese set up decoys 300-400 hundred (A MUST)Pounded every incomming flock.The last few days dark geese season closed so we were limited on 20 snows 3 punk canadians and 5 ducks

The duck hunting was great the first 45 minutes every morning.Guessing any where from 1,000-5,000 pintails every morning limit being 1.We shot only 1 mallard during the trip and that was the only 1 we saw.

If your planning a trip 1 thing i recommend is just plan on 2 boxes of ammo every day.Bring every thing you own for clothes from warm weather hunting to mid 20 degree hunting wet and dry conditions.
I think this next week the season changes to no limit on snows and you can use electronic callers.I wanted to stay for this hunt but figured 2 boxes of ammo only got me my limits by 9 am or so what would i need for a full day of action no limits hmmm my guess would be some none hunters wallet

Think i stated if he makes it for another year he wont have much of a head gear.I would like to see this buck taken out for 2 reasons.1 being he probly wont make it but if he does why let an animal suffer when his lifes near the end

2nd reason is this year more then likely will be his last good set of antlers

I’m not here to argue..All i asked is if someone wanted to take a chance.If ya dont wanna take a chance why even bother to respond

G-man i put those pics up so everyone can get an idea what kida buck the 1 in the picture probly is.Also so people who like to look at half azz bucks can view them if they so choose to.I’m not saying my bucks are monsters.There the kinda bucks my area has to offer and maybe someday i’ll be like you and shoot a big 1 until then i’ll just deal with the bucks i can find

Guys that did’nt like me were well you know..The big talkers who could never bring home 1 to prove what there mouth spoke of and i always proved myself time and time again.(((( TELL ME I”M WRONG))))

Just look above that sums up what i preach on the other site.I try and help many out just to many old school hunters who think they know everything yet keep shooting fork horns.Then they tell me i’m full of BS..Kinda funny how i get 10-30 e-mails a day from many hunters i have no clue who they are.4 guys shot bucks they were try’n to kill all season after i took my time and drove over and gave them my 2 cents where to place a stand

I promised that this buck would be down and out by the end of the month(October)Well i was wrong 1 guy missed him the other guy 2 weeks later never saw him walk behind his stand at 15 yards on a day the wind was blowing 30 mph

I was put on hold for a comment i made about how much deer meat you get back from the meat market.I said you get a shoe box size of meat back for the sum of 250.00$$ from 90% of the deer shot in Minnesota.Response i got from mods was he shot a button buck and took it personaly.Ive have a couple e-mails from administration to send a reply back so i can post again.I said no ty i dont need to be apart of something like that with soooooooo many know it alls that keep shooting little bucks and telling me i have no clue on how to hunt
