Could you use a lock-r-bar to go across the bed of your truck like some boats have? If the shack is big enough, it would be awfully tough to get around one of them.
We have some tickets available for the Minneapolis Boat Show. If any IDO’ers are interested feel free to shoot me a PM or give us a call. We would be happy to get some mailed out, or stop in and say hi!
Happy Holidays!
If you PM me for tickets please include your full name and an address to send them to. Thanks guys!
Don’t overlook the Namekogan river that runs right past the resort. They might even rent you a canoe if your staying at Heartwood. I have seen many nice muskies and smallies while floating that stretch of river.
I ran into this once on an old merc. Problem I had was on the fuel pickup inside the gas tank. Took the hose out of the tank and it was rotted. Swapped in a new hose and problem was solved.
Thanks guys. I just got a pair of the wildcat rods. Seem like they should do the trick. Now just need to take the time to get out and fish for some skin rather than scale!
Thanks for the help guys. The river I spend most of my time fishing typically does not have much current other than the spring of the year. Channels are the main target with a bonus flat that shows up once in a while.
Caught this one with two hooks in its mouth. Broke me off in a snag then ate another minnow about an hour later about 40 yards away from where it bit the first time. Must of been hungry!
Thanks Randy! Hard to believe I figured out how to make a post to ask the question, but couldn’t figure the rest out. Maybe I should try in the morning next time.
I would recommend giving the guys at Hunter’s point a call. I have not stayed in there sleepers, we typically rent out a cabin, but everything seems to be top notch with these guys.
Tape is never a bad idea. I also forgot to add, make sure you have a GOOD grip on your drill. When a hole saw that big grabs, it grabs hard. Definitely not something you want to race through. Also, after you have your large hole drilled don’t forget to countersink your holes that you will be fastening the speaker with.
